Gregg, Thanks for responding. You're so right. It's been a long, sick 2 yrs. I am now well enough to fight for myself so I'm not going to go back to her. I feel like such a jerk because they say nothings wrong with me and I can hardly walk around. Thanks for your concern. In my area Hepatologists are hard to come by and so are GI's that specialize in AIH. cherry Re: [ ] Help Hi, I think you surely should get another GI. there is something wrong if they only want to see you once a year. You need to be monitored more frequently. my GI sees me every 3 months now that my condition is stable. He saw me a lot more when I was first diagnosed. Greg

Cherry, my name is Judy,Pens.Fl. I have AIH and just

noticed some minor brain fog. My ammonia level was

checked & was elevated. I was placed on Lactulose.I go

in 2 weeks to have it rechecked. This is not something

to take lightly & if your Dr. is change Drs. Its your

life and you must insist that this be addressed. Good

luck.

There are a few possible answers to explain your

results. Depending on if your C is recent infection, maybe

viral count,if non-detectable is too low to measure. Is

also possible you were false positive to begin with.

RIBA test should be done to determine. Also from what

I have learned TMA test is most accurate test for

viral count. It is possible you did have C and got rid

of virus on your own. I had Hep B & C and carry

antibodies for B and 3 non-detect test on C. Have never done

conventional med's , but alternatives. Am waiting for results

from TMA test which takes 80 days to replicate the

virus,if it is still alive.
