We have a great problem here with non-native animals,

specifically the zebra mussel has filled Lake

Michigan, they come in from international ships and

are VERY prolific. We still don't know what the long

term affect will be. I heard there was a volkswagen at

the bottom of the lake and they went down to check it

a year later and you couldn't see one square inch of

it. The zebra mussels clamp on to any flat surface.

Dave I just want ya to know I'm right behind ya giving ya moral support ok!!!! Keep on going and I hope you feel better.......Hey! When is the honeymoon????? Have a great time.....How much longer till Diane gets back?? I sure miss her..It is in the 40's here.For Louisiana this time of year it is COLD to us!!! My knees and feet are freezing!!!! I guess you are use to it up there but ole cajuns aren't............

Sounds like a good plan to me. After feeling pretty

good for a couple of days, I was sick again yesterday.

Dennis,

The crawfish are so deep we couldn't find em if we tried but that's ok cause when we can't find em it's cause they are makin baby ones!!!! We should have a great season this year..I hope so because they are sooo good!!!!!! Have you tried em yet?????

Dave I never heard of that one cause if they have a crawfish big enough to haul someone in then I don't want any part of em.....LOL....Besides the water isn't deep enough to hurt anything.You can walk through it..I remember in my BAD days I got alot of crawfish for free...Let's say I went wading through someones ponds and helped them check their traps without their permission!!!! SSSSHHHH don't tell anyone ok..Better to do it barefooted..Then you can feel the mud squish between your toes!!!!! Anyone game to go with me??????

Dennis I learned at an early age....If it's big enough to drag YOU to it's home....STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! LOL....I don't like my feet touched by humans much less a crawfish......LOL.......Well maybe just a little rub every now and then....LOL....but not by a crawfish that's for sure..You see Diane isn't back 1 full day and I am already acting up..She brings out my naughty side......LOL.I was really being good while she was away too!!!

That reminds me. Some friends of mine when I lived

down there told me that when they were kids they used

to go down to the river " diddlin " on a dare. Diddlin

was where they would hang their legs over the bank and

wait for a crawfish to grab their toe and then haul

em' in. You ever go in for any of that? -dz-

The deepwater ones get pretty big.......I['ve seen those pinchers draw blood when pinched by a big one...All I know and care about is they sure are good!!!

We have them in Wisconsin (they're called crayfish

here), but they're little things, maybe a couple of

inches long, but they still hurt when they pinch you.

The ones I remember seeing along the Mississippi were

about twice that size, I'm sure it hurt when they

pinched on their toes, it was just one of those " guy "

things.

I sure hope so! I've been counting on that(it's

Friday). I think you can still blame the meds for a

while. I had to stop taking my ritalin (for ADHD),

suddenly it is making me sick in combination with

everything else I suppose. Diane, it seems to me that

you mentioned some alternative herbal tx. Am I
