Hey can we get the flu shot?? I had called a hospital and would you beleive the emergency room RN said she had no idea if we could or not??? Seems to me if you call and speak to one that they would know so I decided to ask the more knowledgeable ones....YOU ALL!!!!!!! Hey maybe I'll call her back after I get an answer and tell her I know the answer and maybe it'll help her out.

Yes Jan... We can get a Flu shot and we should get one..... Our immune

systems are weakened and if we do get the flu, it would hit hard... I

don't have the flu... Just some sort of a bug.... The headache is bad

and I ache more than ever if that is at all possible...... Take care

Actually we are the boarders. We live in his house. I spend most of my days

off trying to work on the house for him.It's not easy since I don't know

much about that kind of work. I get by though.

You might check with your local health department. They should be able to tell you if any are available or not.

We generally split any venison we get between 6 of us,

regardless of who gets what, but if I don't go, I

won't expect to get any. My brother may give me a

little. But they do process the deer together. I'll be

happy to pass along your recipe and try to extract

some of the jerky for it! -dz-

Good for you, I'm sure he appreciates the help and

company. We can learn much from our elderly. I

remember I used to room with some friends of mine who

had a large house, there was also an older man, a

retired lawyer who roomed there. I learned quite a lot

from him, he was quite a character. I learned quickly

to think about what I was going to say before I opened

my mouth, he was very good at making you eat your

Dave men don't need books nor do you all need to ask for directions..You would much rather drive in circles telling your family you are just showing them around, when really you are LOST...Spoken from a woman who was married to a man who NEVER read directions or ask for DIRECTIONS...I have seen the same place many times within a few minutes but hey men are NEVER lost...Now I am one to go ask for directions BUT warn the direction giver that if it isn't right I WILL BE BACK and not very happy..New Orleans was great for not giving good directions...

One of my worst faults is not paying attention while riding with someone...I'm too busy talking about nothing much and looking around..I don't care what route it takes to get there as long as I do..I have been to my in laws about 5 times already but do you think I can get there on my own??? Not at all...I don't even think I could get to her house if I was put in the town she lived in..Now that is sad but I figure that's just another reason God made man!!! For him to bring us!!!

I don't think I need any book. I can usually figure out what I need to do to get the job done. My Grandfather was a master carpenter, and my dad was a cabinet maker in his younger days.

Yes, but you have to see the method to our madness.

While we are wandering around lost, we are exploring

and learning new territory. That way the next time we

can say " Hey I recognize this neighborhood! I was lost

I did the same thing in Florida.... I was busy chatting and looking

at the homes and I didn't have a clue where we were driving..... When I

rented the car for a day I had to be driven to the highway.... And it

was just 2 turns.... I just didn't think I would need to know where we

were driving..... When I got to highway19 I was good to go!!!!!!! It was

nice to see my girlfriend I hadn't seen in over 20 years.... That was

the only one I saw cause I had no transportation.... It was a last

minute decision......

I guess I'm the same way, if I drive somewhere,

there's a pretty good chance I'll remember how to get

there, but if I'm riding, chances are slim to none.
