Guest guest
It is so nice the way the United States is pulling together. Odd huh how now through all of this tragedy people that may not have even looked twice at one another are seen hugging together and caring for one another. That is the only beautiful part of this whole mess.
Guest guest
That is great -dz- It makes you feel good to do something no matter how large or small at such a tragic time.... The fund raiser is really doing well.... Glad to hear that. Don't forget everyone....... The people in the United States are going to light a candle outdoors at exactly 7 pm tonight in unity over what has happened..... If you are in a vehicle stop your car and stand outside with your candle. We have to come together and show the terrorist we will not hide from them or let them instill a fear in us to make them think that we will hide. Guest guest
I feel so guilty because I didn't know of the candle lighting at 7:00 pm. I had a death in my family once more and didn't hear of this and now I am suffering teremndous guilt. My heart goes out to those people that were lost in all this mayhem. I have not watched anything else since until last night when I had to go to the funeral home and then again today for the funeral and take care of my own personal affairs. My aunt passed away afyer suffering bone cancer. She is in a much more peaceful place noe. I know she is at rest. She did look so pretty. Hope that doesn't sound morbid. Well goodnight to all and let's pray tomorrow brings more rescued lives.

Guest guest
Diane my throat is still hurting sooooo bad. It is day 13 of nothing but pain and burn in my throat. Can't hardly talk. I guess I'll have to go to the Dr next week. I keep hoping it'll go away but after this long I am having my doubts. Must be having a blonde moment too cause I haven't done anything till now. Hell I gargled and took cough drops cause of the cough too and I put that nasty spray in there. Yuck. Sorry to hear you feel asleep. We are more tired than we thought. Guest guest
We had our candles out on the porch. It was a beautiful evening, even though a little cool. There were quite a few lit in our surrounding blocks. It would've been cool to see an aerial view. I went out for lunch yesterday and I saw a (non-military)plane taking off from Austin Straubel, so it's good to see a little return to normalcy.. -dz --- diane214@... wrote: > That is great -dz- > It makes you feel good to do something no matter > how large or small > at such a tragic time.... Guest guest
I wouldn't worry about that, there were plenty of candles going. The candles were a symbol of our solidarity, what is in your heart is where our solidarity is proven. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > I feel so guilty because I didn't know of the candle > lighting at 7:00 pm. Guest guest
Janet, sorry about the loss of your aunt. It's tough to see a loved one go through all that pain. It's somewhat comforting to know their pain is over, even though we still miss them. -dz- > Re: [ ] American Spirit > > > I feel so guilty because I didn't know of the > candle lighting at 7:00 pm. Guest guest
I think that we have to give ourselves a break and realize that our lives have been rocked too with this disease. Not to the scope of what has happened in New York and DC, but our lives have not been in a state of normalcy for some time. We do what we can, yet we cannot do all the things that we want to do, or used to do. -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: > Jan, > Sorry to hear about another tradgedy in your > family. Guest guest
Yes DZ that's true. She did seem at rest. Everytime anyone saw her she was walking and doing something all the time and was sweatty no makeup and all but after her struggle through this life she just looked so pretty. It was a comfort knowing she doesn't hurt anymore. JUst kinda hard so soon after the loss of my father this past May. Monday is his and my brother's birthday. Another hard reminder. I am having a barbeque for my brother tomorrow and maybe it'll make Monday a little easier.
Guest guest
Isn't that true. I have just been feeling so worn out the past couple of weeks. I keep saying I just need 10 minutes and I'll be ready to go again but it seems the 10 minutes do nothing. I took a very long nap and feel just as worn out as I did before I took it if not more so but I felt I just couldn't go anymore. Then I feel like a let down to my daughter because she needs so much attention. She has been through so much and has never really lived like a child her age should. Hard to get into right now. Hope all is ok and hope to hear from all of you soon.
Guest guest
I went to the pharmCY today and she said it's probably the meds causing it. I said for 2 weeks? She asked if I was doing this and that for it and I said yes so she said I was doing all I could. All I know is it hurts and I am miserable. See how bad it hurts all my writing is messed up today......hahaha. Diane I stay tired too. I don't know what's wrong. It seems all I do is say I'm tired and then I get aggrevated. My nerves are so shot I broke a damn bag of sugar on the floor this morning. See I lose feeling in my right hand at times and it just fell out and sugar went everywhere. I started crying like a baby. That's not me!!!!!!!! Things got to get better. Any suggestions except I need a VACATION!!!!!!!!!

Guest guest
hahahaha.......A whole lot worse has popped out of this mouth let me tell ya. When I ask my girls "Where do you get that mouth from?"....they just look at me and say "Like you don't know".......Oh well as the saying goes the apple don't fall far from the tree at least they don't curse(not that I hear anyway). I do remember being their age. I do need alot of rest Diane. I just feel exhausted. But since my Father's death it has been a very emotional strain on me with all the goings on with Kristy and now I may be having to take care of my younger brother too since his mother is very ill. I told her I would if she needed me to. I would never let anything happen to him so now I'm stressed out with that until I hear more. Get in touch. Guest guest
It's never easy. Even though, through faith, we know that our loved ones are ok, and they are out of pain, we are still robbed of the pleasure of their company, at least until we join them. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > Yes DZ that's true. Guest guest
I agree. Strep can cause an increase in your white blood cell count and it strips you of energy. If you add to that the loss of energy and lowered rbc count from hcv and/or it's tx, you could be looking at some real trouble. Let us know how it goes. -dz- --- diane214@... wrote: > Jan, > Go to the Dr. You may have Strep Throat!!! I > myself can't stay > awake.... I have been sleeping non stop.... This is > not me. Guest guest
I don't know if I would take the pharmacists advice alone, I would see a doctor, although the pharmacy has given me good advice, I remember the first time I missed a dose of my pills, I called the pharmacist and he told me to double up my dose. I did, and it didn't seem to hurt anything, but when I talked to my doctor about a missed dose, he told me not to double up, just take the next dose and try my best not to forget. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > I went to the pharmCY today and she said it's > probably the meds causing it. Guest guest
Well, we're all adults here, sometimes you just gotta curse, it couldn't have been too bad, I didn't notice the curse. Guest guest
My mom has MS and she has problems with that numbness, her legs are always cut and banged up from getting in and out of her wheelchair, because she can't feel it when she is hurting her legs. I remember she was alway saying how tired she was. I told her, now I finally know how she feels. -dz --- diane214@... wrote: > Jan, > OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhh You said damm...... > Bad Girl!!! ;o If > that is the worse thing that comes out of your mouth > then you are a > saint cause a lot worse comes out of mine at > times.... Guest guest
DZ if I poured out my heart with all the crap my family is still putting me through I would have a flood of tears in each computer. They are putting me under so much stress right now and Kristy. I told my husband it is time we move from here and yet I think....why should I let them get to me so much that I move my family to get away from them? Guest guest
Dave thanks for you rkind words this morning. I needed them. You are right about not moving for that reason. It seems to me it is them with the problem not me but yet they seem so unhappy with their own lives that they want to make someone else's miserable also. That is not right. I stay to my own and take care of my own and don't interfere with them and their lives and feel I deserve the same respect. They are trying to fix it where I get nothing from the sale of the property as my father stated in his will. He was of sound mind and body when the will was written so they will have a very tough expensive fight if they try it. Oh well another day at Jan's Happy Home...Hope all of yours is better. Guest guest
I think you are right in not moving, at least not for that reason. I know from experience that running away from your problems never works. I know that when people bother me I take a cooler attitude towards them and stop worrying about what they do or think, if they want to foam at the mouth, let them, it doesn't change me or my ideas. I realize that it is much more difficult to keep your emotions in check when dealing with your family. I will pray for you the same thing I have been praying for the world in the past few days, " Please, God, let cooler heads prevail " -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > DZ if I poured out my heart with all the crap my > family is still putting me > through I would have a flood of tears in each > computer.
