How old are you? How long have you been doing TRT injections, and taking

Arimidex? I'm 44 and have been taking shots since April this year. I havent

taken Arimidex or HCG and was thinking about starting. I'm not having wood at

all in the morning, but can if wife wants too! I am taking TRT (200mg) every 10

day, but have an Dr appt Friday and was going to ask about doing 100mg every 5

days. My Estrodile its 81 so I want to get that down.

Is HcG totally necessary

What would happen if I stopped taking HcG and only took the TRT injections?

Tyring to cut down on the estradiol and will probably split my 100mg of T to two

50 mg shots every 3-4 days in order to lower the effects of the T converting to

Esradiol. I do use arimidex .25 every other day depending on the wood and how

swollen fingers are from water retention.

Will cuting out the HcG help allievte the water retension and lower the

estradiol?

It can but you don't need to stop the HCG just do one shot the day before your

Test C shot. This is what I do if your going to do a Test C shot 2x's a week it

will cut down on your E2 levels a lot and you can still do HCG I feel better

doing both.

Wow your Estradiol is dam high when mine was this high I could not have sex I

had very bad ED and even when the pill came out it did not help. Doing your

amount of Test C 200mgs every 10 days I would try 80 mgs every 3 days and added

in HCG 250 IU's the day before each Test C shot. This works great for me. And

you need to get on some Arimidex .5 mgs every other day until you have some good

night time and morning wood. Then keep taking this dose until you lose your

wood this means your Estradiol went to low. So just stop the Arimidex until

your wood comes back that day go back on the Arimidex but only take .25 mgs or

1/4 of a pill every 2 to 3 days. I had BPH and getting Estradiol down fixed

this and I had panic attacks this is fixed also.

Yrs. ago I read Dr. Shippen dose this to his self he did the book " The

Testosterone Syndrome " .

I stopped hcg about 3 weeks ago and I think I made a big mistake. I've been

felling depressed and anxious since. I'm still taking 100 cyp a week and wonder

why this is happening? Maybe my t levels have come down? Has this happened to

anyone before after stopping hcg?

So, the HCG, will increase the size of my balls back to normal?? How

long before I notice it?? I get my health care fromt he military, will have

to see if they can prescripe it. If not, maybe I can get a script and fill

it at a drug store.

When this happens it can mean your Secondary and your testis on HCG were making

a lot of T. I am this way if I stopped HCG I would need to up my dose of Test C

shots.

I am secondary also and I went 23 yrs not knowing it. When I added HCG I felt so

much better why would you want to stop using it. What happens when you go on

TRT is your brain sees the T in your blood and slows down or stops sending the

LH and FSH messages to your Testis, body and brain. Here is a copy of a post to

me by Dr. about it and he sent this to me to help me get my Dr. to let me

use HCG read this cut and paste and you will see why your better off on it.

====================================================

He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing)

there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why

this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take

will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone.

This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic

consideration.

Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT

patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which

is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with

CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more

natural balance of our hormones.

Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an

increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life

issues.

Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including

those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.

====================================================

And this link supports what he says.

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/5/2595

Some men that are secondary only use HCG they do a 60 to 100 IU's shot everyday.

If you want to read more about using HCG Dr. has an HCG Update at his site

www.allthingsmale.com and when your there read TRT: A Recipe for Success.

For me I feel better doing Test C shots and HCG doing HCG only I did not feel as

good.

Is it possible for estrogen to spike after stopping hcg for about a month? I

broke out with horrible acne on my back and also the depression as well. I'm

going back on the hcg but can this have been caused by stopping hcg?

I'm fine Phil, I was just agreeing with " andrenym007 " that stoping ones hCG

can leave one depressed. Brett
