Guest guest
Honey....you are SO sweet. I was joking as usual. I did not win the lottery. Wish I could win it and help some people! But I was making jokes about the way the date was turned around in someone elses post. I have since found out that it's the way the Europeans write their dates. So what I thought was August 5th, 2006 (8-5-06) was actually MAY 8th, 2006...the way they do it across the pond. I have only left the country once for a cruise to Bermuda 7 years ago so I would not know that they do it backwards. My joke was that if that maybe someone of the people on here are living in the future and if they ARE, then they could tell me the winning lottery numbers and I could play them, win the money and help us all out. This is not the first time one of my jokes backfired. Once at work when we were going to draw names out of a hat to chose who we would get a gift for at Christmas time, I replaced all the names with my own name so everyone would draw my name. I thought that everyone would talk about who they got and realize that they ALL got Betsy but one girl did not realize it and I got 2 gifts that year and she got nothing. I felt so bad. Of course I gave her one of mine and spent the rest of the day feeling like a jerk. Sorry I confused you there gal! If I DID win the lottery, I'd have to contact you first and see what you needed. All I would need is a car that runs, a little house, money to pay a college kid to help me with it, and money for medical care. I don't need much. I think that when you have had plenty, and then had less, you learn that you can live without much of the stuff we THINK we need. Sorry I confused you! -Betz
