Hi Miss Candycane53,

I know that Cyrena had posted her scars at one time, so take a look

in photo's and check out Cyrena's file. Also scars are individual, as

meaning if you don't scar easily then these too will fade away.

I have 5 scars from surgery and the only one that is noticeable is the

port longest scar, but I asked Dr. Aceves to please use a previous

scar and so that's why it is noticeable more, not bad. Hope this helps.

Deb

Hi Tama,I have pics of my scars in my photo album - Cyrena's Journey. And pics of my face :) I should take another shot of the scars as they have faded ever more. I have never worn a bikini, even at 120lbs in highschool I wore a full body swimsuit. So that was one of my questions too after losing weight. I have not exercised like I should so I'm a flabby 140lbs :( I couldn't wear a bikini. Maybe if I had worked out more I would have different results, I don't know. I will say though that I just bought a Tankini and I think I look great in it. Well, as far as looking great in a swimsuit goes :) I bought a really cute cover-up for it and my friend asked what in the world I would wear that for :) So this may all be a self confidence thing

:) Wanting to wear a swimsuit and look good isn't vain!! It's human nature, we all of course want to be healthier but come on, let's get real, a great looking body to go with it, wouldn't be a bad thing. LOLGood luck and please keep us posted on your progress. Cyrena240/141/145start/now/goalSIZE 4-6!!!DOB: 1/19/07 SCARS

Dr. Aceves started out thinking he wanted to do plastic surgery many years ago. Then he decided that he preferred bariatrics. Point is, he leaves amazing scars, best I have seen.Think of it this way, the scars are farrrr less noticeable than stretch marks.

That would be from an open procedure, not lap. Lap procedures are five tiny scars, not one huge one. Honestly, stretch marks are 100x worse than any of the lap scars. On Wed, Apr 2, 2008 at 7:22 AM, Tama Whitley <misscandycane35@...> wrote:

cindy- the only picture I have found was one..where the ladys scar was straight down her middle..it was about 6 inches long and SUPER THICK and RAISED...plus all the hole marks...and it scared the crap out of me....so thats WHY...I want feed back from DR.A's people....I'm hoping...they dont look like that...

Hi I wondered if anyone used any scar cream for their psoriasis once it

cleared up. Since being on the methotrexate my psoriasis is almost gone but

left with the marks. Can anyone recommend any scar cream?

Hopefully I can.

The doctors at the burn center recommended to my cousin when he had his legs

burned to use cocoa butter. He was burned when he was about 8 and you can't

even tell when he has shorts on.

That's interesting Deb. I didn't notice anyone discussing Serrapeptase in

previous posts. What's that?

from that since then. About 1 1/2 years ago or so I started taking 40,000 unit

caps of Serrapeptase, one to two times per day, for chest pain. Well in a few

short weeks I commented to hubby that my C-section scar seems to have gone down,

a LOT! I looked at it in the mirror and showed it to him. I was in total

disbelief as it had gone down atleast 66%! That was certainly an unexpected

result!
