Guest guest Posted November 3, 2005 Report Posted November 3, 2005 Hi Jane, I just had to respond to your letter. I offer no hope for your boils, but I am curious if others have had a similar complaint. For whatever reason (maybe just the plain matter-of-factness of your short response) I was moved to near tears. Of all the indignaties -- boils! I hope they go away for you soon. Quote
Guest guest Posted November 4, 2005 Report Posted November 4, 2005 Hi, I haven't had boils as a result of Humira, but I've had them ever since my P got bad. Every once in a while my dermatologist puts me on some antibiotics after lancing them (sorry if that's a bad image) and it seems to keep them at bay for quite a while. I mostly get them on the back of my head, ouch. Jayson [ ] Re: Jane Karsten Switch Enbrel to Humira - boils Hi Jane, I just had to respond to your letter. Guest guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 *** " I have to stop Humira in mid-December for joint fusion surgery on Jan 4, so we're curious to see if they'll go away. warm blessings, jane " Best wishes for successful fusion and disappearing boils. I hope the fusion helps and the boils never return. My empathy for your state: boils on top of your arthritis and psoriasis was very real for me. I could just imagine it, because I sometimes catch myself wondering what is going to be next... brent Quote
