Guest guest
Robynn, I was curious if there is a web site for the Lancet. My Dr kept referring to things that he had read in the Lancet, so I thought that if I could find some good articles (that he possibly has not read), he might take notice....just a thought...and hope !! Guest guest
Hi gang, Judy, what did you go through for doc to discover you have a sleep disorder? Did you have to stay overnite? Hooked up to thingys on your head? I have always had trouble sleeping. Patsy
Guest guest
No this was just a test that was done at home. I wore a monitor on my finger and somehow it recorded my breathing. The doctor thinks that should be enough, that I don't need to go to an overnight study. He wants me to use oxygen at night. We're waiting to see what the insurance co. says. Judy From: patsy1128@... Guest guest
Patsy, when he first suggested that I do this test I told him I did not feel that I had sleep apnea. I just did it to humor him. I usually don't having any trouble going to sleep at night. Judy From: patsy1128@... Guest guest
In a message dated 3/8/01 10:17:16 AM Eastern Standard Time, Todd writes: Well its nearly 9:15 am here and I survived....I brought in 4 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts to work for my co-workers and I didn't have one....I opted for a EAS Edge Advant Carb Control Nutrition Bar...the apple cinnamon flavor not bad...26g protiens and 2.5g of carbs ..bought at the local WalMart for $1.67 a bar.....Got up at 4:30 and did 20 mins of ABS before I had to get ready for work.....I start work at 5:30am...so getting in a morning workout is pretty hard..... Congratulations, Todd. I know how that goes. Last week I was at a conference, and you'd have thought it was a donut conference instead of a medical conference!! Give yourself a treat, though, a reward...I have a list of non-food rewards. Its a good idea. Guest guest
I think either shriver or Couric wrote a book about death Books on Death and Dying A very good friend of ours was killed in a freak truck accident this afternoon...his name was Doug. He was one of 3 men my husband really thought of as close friends and he lived across the street. He and his wife have been involved in Bridget's life since her birth and both of the girls were very fond of 'uncle' Doug. I know there are books out there that approach this subject...does anyone have suggestions of titles as I am drawing a blank. I can't believe that I have to deal with this in regard to Bridg right now but I can't just not say anything. I remember when our pig died and we didn't say anything...we didn't think she would notice...WRONG!! Well I know she will notice if he doesn't come around and flat out asks for him to come visit. I'm not putting this very well...He will be missed by us all. Bridget needs a story about dying to read so she can go over it until it sinks in. I will relate it to Doug for her. Unbelievable...Thanks, Deanna ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________

Guest guest
Re: barry activation Congratulations on your wonderful day! It is a little bit different for you than was fr my daughter who was implanted at 2 yrs old. When they turned her on for the first time, she cried! She was scared at the noise. It took a trip to Disney World to convince her to leave the implant on. I remmber when she was first diagnosed as profoundly deaf in both ears I was so upset that she would never talk or sing or hear Christmas carols. Now, she thinks she is Celine Dion the way she sits in the back of the car and sings her little heart out. God answers all prayers in His own time, I know He answered mine! Good luck and keep up the good work. Mom of Sydney N24 Sept. 1997 ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
