Guest guest
Dear Finette, My daughter saw Dr. Grubb for her POTS a few times. Where does he stand on TBD? I have always wondered if he was supportive of the Lyme diagnosis or not? It sounds like he felt the lyme infection could be affecting the dysautonomia. He is a great guy isn't he? Guest guest
Hi YES he is wonderful...in more ways than just being a great doctor. He is quite supportive of the chronicity of TBD and has even put in both Evan's and my consult letters that in his opinion dysautonomias can be triggered by and/or worsened by viral and bacterial infections including Lyme!!! Our LLMD here was ecstatic to see it in print!! For our cases he was even more specific. To think or even believe something is one thing, to make the risky move of writing it shows conviction! Thankfully he is doing better ( some of you may recall his fight last spring with kidney cancer which goes on) and we ALL would appreciate your adding him and his family to your prayer lists. We cant lose a soul such as his. BTW I have finally gotten the Bicillin ordered...at MY own expense ( with hopes of reimbursement within 6 weeks UGH) but still battle the zithro pill count...sigh and the IV IGG battle still unresolved..it is so unfair to have to add this stress to the already huge challenges of having an ill teen and not being well myself....to quote the pharmacist " addicts can get free needles and narcotics easier than these kids can get much needed antibiotics..stupid world " ...amen Finette Re: [ ] Fw: Dr. Grubb Dear Finette, My daughter saw Dr. Grubb for her POTS a few times.
