Are you seeing a LLD? I would guess that you would benefit from IV abx. It is really something that you and your doctor should discuss and come to the conclusion together. I think if the pt is involved in treatment it helps with the fear and anxiety that we all feel. Its hard not to be scared because there are so many different opinions and theories on Lyme and how to treat it. Just getting treatment is a major stress factor. Then there are the ins cos and all the junk you have to hear from alot of people that dont have a clue. The biggest thing is to have faith and trust in your doc. If you question that my advice is to find another doc. Also its hard to say if all the symptoms will go away or will be there for ever. It could be that you are having a HERX and that is why you are feeling your symptoms more right now. Hope this helps. Please let us know how you are doing. The doc that I am seeing does treat a lot of Lyme patients, he himself has had to deal with Lyme disease. He does follow Dr. B's protocol - so I do have faith in him. My next visit with him is on the 30th of this month. I have been seeing him every 3 weeks. At that time, I will discuss switching over to the IV. Guest guest
Hi Kim, Welcome to the list, I hope you find what you need from this list, we mostly offer solace, support and information. I have had Lyme for almost three years, and I experienced the burning sensations about one year ago. I was scared too, it felt to me like someone was holding a match to my skin. My doctor told me these are neuropathies, caused from nerve damage from Lyme disease. He gave me Neurontin, which really has helped a lot with the burning sensations. Maybe you would want to ask your doctor about it. Twitches and tremors are also part of the disease process, again they are from nerve damage. Maybe the Zithromax is not working as well for you now, and you should ask your doctor to add another drug. I am currently on 500mg of Zith and 1500mg of Ceftin, it doesn't always help me, that's why I think it is a good idea to switch to another combination once in awhile. I doubt your days are numbered, Lyme disease is rarely fatal, and I am sure you are seeing a good doctor who is keeping an eye on your bloodwork, etc. Don't worry. Guest guest
I do the preventative cleansing using products from a company called First Fitness. Reneu is an internal cleanser and detoxifier that gets rid of parasites and worms - especially Candida Albican. Lipomax for cleansing and detox of the liver. Once I started using this I lost an inch off my waist in about 1 and a half months - got the liver to start metabolizing the stored fat like it's supposed too. Fit to a Tea is an herbal tea that purifies and detoxes the blood. Biomega is an aloe vera based muti-vitamin juice. Has anyone ever used any of these products before? Mike RE: New to this site Hi, Welcome to the list. No, this is not a board for East Park, that is just the thread of discussion yesterday. We discuss many things. People ask questions, we get to discussing. There are lots and lots of products on the market that help with these problems. Have you done a bowel cleanse before? Do you have a specific problem you are trying to help by bowel cleansing, or are you doing preventative cleansing? ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com <http://loaves-n-fishes.com> http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com <http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com> I'm new to this site. Guest guest
Hi Mike, Sounds like you have found a program that works for you. That is wonderful. Are these products that you liked, so you became a distributor to get them cheaper? I have quite a few that I did that with and still use too. Do you have a website to read more on your products? I haven't used them, but have some that work great for me. I am using Dr. Cabot's product (http://www.liverdoctor.com) to cleanse my liver as well as Dr. 's liver cleanse. I know the importance of cleansing the liver. Another thing..., when you joined the list, you were sent a list of guidelines for posting... please remember to trim your posts, it helps the digest people to make sense of the conversation threads. Edit out the reply and only include that which is necessary for people to understand what you are replying to and take out all the advertisements is what I am referring to. Guest guest
I started using 2 of the products, the Reneu and Slim N Up and lost about 45 pounds and have kept it off for 6 years. I was skeptical about becoming a distributor but to get the stuff cheaper, it really is the smartest thing to do. The name of our website is www.healthymission.com <http://www.healthymission.com> and you can click on " Our Products " for descriptions. I've tried a lot of different products but have had the most success with these. But I like to see what other products people are using too. To show you how important cleansing is, I have a small story: my mom has tried almost every product and every system (Weight Watcher, Craig, Slim Fast, Nutrisystems, ect. . . ) and even some of the First Fitness products with no success. Then I got her to try the Reneu (the internal cleanser - which is in a 10 day plan called Suddenly Slim) and she has lost over 45 pounds. The key to weight loss is cleansing. I tell that to my clients I train (I'm also a person trainer). You can eat great and get a lot of exercise, but if your body is not in the right state of health, you'll never get the results you want. Guest guest
I know that cleansing is the key to losing weight. I personally lost 30 pounds in a month doing a cleanse, so as far fetched as this sounds to people who haven't done it, I know for a fact from my own personal cleansing experience that it CAN happen. I also know from helping other people cleanse that it doesn't happen to everyone. :-) From your post, it seems you are saying your mom lost 45 pounds in ten days. Is that what you meant to imply? ~Karma http://loaves-n-fishes.com http://www.karma.awarenesshealth.com To show you how important cleansing is, I have a small story: my mom has tried almost every product and every system (Weight Watcher, Craig, Slim Fast, Nutrisystems, ect. . . ) and even some of the First Fitness products with no success. Guest guest
No, she had lost 13 pounds in 10 days and then went on to lose a total of 45 pounds. But I did meet a man that lost 30 pounds in 10 days. It is amazing how we store in our bodies. I agree with you that people don't believe how successful and needed cleansing is. Guest guest
I have an 8 year old child. Doctors believe that he has ADHD. He is a great at school, but at home is a different story. We have tried concerta, adderall, the patch, strattera and zoloft. My family doctor believes he has anxiety and possible OCD. After trying all these meds she referred us to a psychiatrist who diagnosed as ADHD & ODD. All he did was ask a lot of questions (which maybe how they determine). Put him on abilify and Benztropine. This was 2 days ago and he has having side effects of that now. yesturday he ran a fever for a little while and is really tired. He states that his legs feel like he is about to collapse. Today he says he is still really tired, dizzy a little and now is throat is hurting. I have gave him a charcoal tablet to hopefully run this junk out of his system. Which the psychiatrist told me the worse side affect was high blood sugar and cholestrol. Then I looked it up last night and became very upset and worried. I have been trying omegas, probiotics and grapefruit seed extract for the last couple months. We seem to have built his immune system up for not getting sick but the behavior has become worse. I need for someone to lead me in the path to help my child naturally and which test I need to have done. For Example: the hair analysis do I need to have this done Thank you for all of your help and hope to hear from any of you soon!! Guest guest
Hello Christiana, Am very sorry for your pain and in balance of your leg length. My name is and 40yrs old like you and am getting THR too early next year but am really scared and confused. I wish it could be surface hippy but the doctor said am not a candidate for that, since my hip is really bad. Thank you ***************************************************************** From: AZMormonGal <AZLDSGal@...> Joint Replacement Sent: Thu, November 19, 2009 6:05:06 PM Subject: New to this site  Hello All, I wanted to get some opinions so here goes...I am 40 years old and I just had a total hip replacement on Sept 1st. I was born with hip displaysia and it got so bad where I was in pain everyday and couldn't sleep at night anymore. I was scared and excited to have this done because I didn't want to be in pain anymore. My doctor didn't want me to go to physical therapy and I guess he thought I would just get all better and everything would be great. After my 1 month check-up he said that I was not where I needed to be and that I was not walking correctly. He suggested I start seeing a physical therapist which I have. I go every Wed. night and every other Sat. They have helped a bit but I still walk off and I am still in a lot of pain. It's seems like nothing has really changed. Has anyone had a total hip replacement and how long did it take for the pain to go away? Do you have to wear something in your shoe to balance you out? My P.T. thinks I might have Bursitus and/or Sciatic Nerve problems also. He said they can work with me but it will be baby steps. I am so frustrated and it is just wearing me out. I work all day and by the time I get home I am exhausted. Thanks for letting me vent..
Guest guest
Hi! I had my second hip replacement back in June and I was born with hip displaysia as well and they fused my hip when I was 14. But yes it does take a little longer to heal or seems to be when hip displaysia is involved in my case the cavity where the ball socket of the hip goes became mishapen and deeper over time so sometimes there is a little extra work. My balance has always been off as well my legs had a length difference for all my life and with each surgery they add a little more length to the point that both legs are the same now. The nerve has never been stretched to this point and it is going to take me up to a year to heal from it. Does your leg feel leg your mouth after a dentist freezes it? That is what I got lol really uncomfortable, I can walk with it but can't stand anyone brushing it or anything it actually feels like it is being cut then so much to the point that I actually check to make sure it isn't. I have quickly learned over the years that it just takes a lot of patience and grinding your teeth to heal but once it does it is worth it in the end. ~Contessica > > Hello All, > I wanted to get some opinions so here goes...I am 40 years old and I just had a total hip replacement on Sept 1st.
