ICAAP10 to be held in Busan, Republic of Korea (RoK)

Dear friends and colleagues

Greetings.

My attention has been drawn to rumours going around that the 10th International

AIDS Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP10) is being postponed! 

AIDS Society of Asia and the Pacific (ASAP) is the sole custodian and convener

of ICAAP10 in Busan, Republic of Korea. In RoK, the Local Organising Committee

(LOC) is organising the ICAAP10 with help from ASAP.

As President of AIDS Society of Asia and the Pacific (ASAP), I'd like to confirm

that the 10th ICAAP will be held in Busan, Republic of Korea between August

26-30. There is no question of ICAAP10 being postponed!

I do hope my categorical statement - which has full support and consent of Prof.

Myung Hwan-Cho, LOC Chair in Korea - will put an end to unfounded and silly

rumours of ICAAP10 postponement.

I'd encourage my friends on this forum to visit the ICAAP10 website and register

to attend the ICAAP10.
