There are some B-50's which contain less amounts of folic acid. One of them

that I know is hypo B-50 by Labs.It contains 100 mcg of folic acid.

Marcia,

I've found Thorne at compounding pharmacies (not health food stores).

At Thorne's website you can read about their Basic Nutrients line

http://www.thorne.com/index/mod/products/a/product_order/user_type/ppl

(scroll down a bit, then click on the one you want to read about)

I've found a couple websites that sell Thorne at a discount. My most

recent was http://www.myhealth-store.com/thorne-b.html

Take care. -Lynn K

I ordered my folinic acid from needs.com I think it was, its by Kirkman labs and

can be ordered directly from them also. I got the TMG (Trimethylglycine) from

Swansons, thats very common and easy to find at most vitamin outlets.

I have been trying to add Folinic acid to my sons supplements for quite a while now but it seems to make him hyper, sleep less and his language seems more slurred, has anyone else had this trouble? This time I introduced it really slowly and I have kept it going for 4 weeks to see if he will get over it! He has also gone back to referring to himself in the third form (his name rather than I, me etc) not sure if this is connected.

I am thinking about trying folinic acid for my son. I am wondering why it is

sometimes compounded with MB-12 injections, is it best absorbed the same way? I

was going to buy the oral supplement, but wanted to know this first.

Thanks,

Liz
