Guest guest
Ok..her has 3 in the red (the rule is four or more) 12 in the middle (the rule is 11 or less) 8 over fifty percent 12 under fifty. This test meets rules because it is close to meeting two rules...with 3 in the red and 12 in the middle. so he has deranged minerals from mercury. This also means that the minerals cannot be used to reliably gauge deficiency or toxicity or those minerals. His cadmium is too high also. sodium/potassium up with cal/mag down means his adrenals are making too much adrenaline and now enough cortisol. He could benefit from adrenal cortex extract. (Nutricology) It is very likely that low dose AC chelation with dmsa/ala would be beneficial. > > > the last tests are in the file Hair Analysis- ). > > Just so other people can find it easier: It looks like you are referring to the file " Alej_Jun09_methair.pdf " in the Files section (not in the Hair Test folder). > > > > > > We [...] have been treating our son for 5 years. > > What treatment(s) are you using? Guest guest
Hi Counting rule 5 for mercury probably met (barium no longer included in hair elements) possible adrenal problems and strong likelihood of thyroid problems, as they are out of range on 2 markers as far as I can tell. I personally would suggest AC chelation and getting thyroid tested if possible, testing at least TSH, fT3 and fT4 and posting results here for an interpretation. If you don't have it already Andy's HTI book is very useful IMO as well as AI. Best wishes Kenny > > > the last tests are in the file Hair Analysis- ). > > Just so other people can find it easier: It looks like you are referring to the file " Alej_Jun09_methair.pdf " in the Files section (not in the Hair Test folder). > > > > > > We [...] have been treating our son for 5 years. > > What treatment(s) are you using? Guest guest
Hi, , To add a footnote to what Jan and Kenny said, p. 117 of " Hair Test Interpretation " states " When mineral transport is deranged, elevated hair zinc invariably indicates a low body burden and zinc supplementation is appropriate.... " So you can try giving more zinc. The exception would be if you have already been supplementing it at high levels before the hair test. -Ann > so he has deranged minerals from mercury.
