We started supps and she started balancing out. We started andy cutler protocol in january of this year, are on round 35 this weekend; my daughter just turned 9 and her scale is varied from 3 to 5 year old. Guest guest Posted October 25, 2009 Report Share Posted October 25, 2009 she doesnt have any fillings as of yet but i do have to take her to a dentist sometime in the near future. as far as tests go she hasnt had any because the neurologist she had refused to even discuss anything like autism with us. she no longer see's him. the school has labeled her mentally retarted. they said it was to keep her from having to take the t-caps. she can talk but she just says a few words to get by. she takes speech and language therapy at school 3 times a week. and we know she can do better its just that she keeps it in her brain or it gets stuck there. her diet is sometimes a problem. she will eat almost anything but prefers like hot dogs and things like that. she loves her milk also. i have talked to herbalists about it and am now trying to change her diet a little at a time. we have changed to organic where she is concerned. she getsvery upset and starts trying to hurt me when i dont give into what she wants but im doing what i have to for her. > > Welcome to the list. You can start with just ALA and some antioxidants, vitamin C and E and work your way up from there as you can afford it. The hair test is actually optional. You could try a 10 round trial of chelation and if you are getting good results you know you are doing the right thing. The hair test is just a way to help you make the decision to chelate. If you can afford it you should try to incorporate some yeast fighters as well alonng with the chelation, like Biotin and Grapefruit Seed Extract. All of these are over the counter supplements, maybe $20-$30 month depwnding on where you buy them for everything. You need to also try to develop a way where she can communicate to you. Either pecs, sign language or the use of computer. Recently, I've been seeing itouch programs where a child can point to what she wants and I think there's an output voice. Or if she learns her letters to type to you what she wants. Developing a way for her to communicate to you is equally important while doing the biomedical stuff. That could lower her stress level and yours. My son was nonverbal at age 2 yrs old, and now he can say, " I wah bacon or hot dog " . I'm still doing all the biomedical interventions that the parents have suggested on the board. However, if I can expand my son's speech to more than just " I want __ " to expressing feelings and making statements, I would feel I won a million bucks! See if your local library has Andy Cutler's books Amalgam Illness and Hair Test Interpreting.
