Guest guest
Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. I was just wondering...how often do you have to take them, do you have to go to the docs or do you give them to yourself (those self injecting type.) Thanks, jzz
Guest guest
Hi jzz I use self injections. Went to the doctors for a long time but that was 20 miles. Have been on T for nearly 20 years now. I do them every week as you don't get the highs and lows since the life expectancy is about 8 days of T. It is easy to do them yourself once you find out how. To do that go to this link and it will show you exactaly how to do them. I started out doing T every month, but was on a roller coaster. Then every two weeks, same except not as bad. Best every week, somewhere around 75mg to 100mg each shot. After on them for a month or so it is good to have your Estriadol checked because it will go up then you are in trouble again. If you need more information please don't hesitate to ask. Roy http://spotinjections.com/index3.htm Barbara <jzzlvr13@...> wrote: Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. Guest guest
I started getting them at my Dr.'s office once a week if you do shots don't do them any longer then once a week. Start at 100 mgs. every week I now do my shots my self I use a small 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle and do my shots every 3 days also I use HCG and do a 500 IU shot the day before I do my T shot. Doing HCG helps get your Testis working again my testis were very small from be on T meds for 22 yrs. Starting on HCG works like the LH your brain sends to the testis to make more T. Being on T meds this message does not get sent. I also feel the adrenals make testosterone also after reading about men that had to have there Testis removed and were still making some T. If you go to the home page here and on messages in the box that says messages put in the # 14939 and Read Dr. 's TRT: A Recipe for Success and in the files section read his HCG Update. I started on this last yr. and not today I feel the best I ever felt in all the 22 yrs. on T meds. Phil Barbara <jzzlvr13@...> wrote: Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel. Guest guest
I just started injections a couple months ago switching from Androgel. I started doing them every two weeks (400mg - 500mg) but because of the dose I went to weekly injections which I've been doing for a month now. Injections are a little more risky than Gels (which have almost no administration risk). My first four self injections were not good as I would get an infection in my leg on every one. I didn't know this wasn't normal but after I switched to a new vial of Depo-T there was no infection at all. The vial must have been contaminated which is one of the risks you take doing IM injects. I now use single use 1ml vials and don't have to worry about this anymore. One thing is that IM injections are MUCH more convenient than Gels. Once a week administration made a huge difference to me in having to deal with this disorder. Things you have to watch out for in doing IM injects include contaminated vials (when you use multi-dose vials), injecting into a vein (that's why you aspirate when injecting), injecting through a vein (this isn't a big deal, you just bleed more when you pull out the needle – I actually had this happen last night) and keeping everything sterile (needles, skin, vial top, etc.) to avoid causing an infection. But this is nothing more than a diabetic or anyone else who does injections must worry about so it's just a matter of learning how to do it safely. Guest guest
What's your source on this. There's a lot of bodybuilding forums that contain reciepes for making testosterone products but non of them say to add the powder when the oil is hot. My understanding is that they heat up the oil to make it sterile and then they let it cool before adding the pre-metabolite testosterone powder to the mixture to produce the final product. I don't know what you mean by " melting point of testosterone " unless you're talking about the powder form since the pre-metabolite testosterone is already melted as it is a liquid already. In any case this isn't " testosterone " it's a pre-metabolite molecule that becomes bio-identical testosterone after it is metabolized by enzymatic action in the body but not before. Also if temperature wasn't an issue with Depo-T they wouldn't have put storage instructions on the vial strictly saying to keep it between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius. I don't think you're suppose to heat Depo-T for any reason. If you get a contaminated bottle just take it back to the pharmacy for replacement. > > > > > > > > > > Many of you talk about testosterone injections instead of gel.
