Greetings!

I am a 37-year-old male who has struggled with hypogonadism my whole

life. Somehow, I got through puberty, although not powerfully,

lacking lust, libido and drive. Like many of you, I had a similar

pattern of diagnosis of depression for the fatigue and lack of

interest issues.

I was finally diagnosed in 2001 with hypogonadism after a lifetime

of struggle and was put on 50 mgs. 3x week of Clomid which was

amazingly productive. My endo. doctor became concerned of keeping

me on high levels of Clomid and tapered it down to 25 mgs. 3x week

which basically did nothing for me and took away all good feelings

and morning woods. About 8 weeks ago, my doctor tried 200 mls. of

Depo for 2 weeks and then 300 for 4 weeks (every 2 week shots). I

found that I was incredibly naseous on the Depo after about 10 days

into it and had the craps something fierce (but no sexual

reaction). Recently, he switched me to a compounded cream of

testosterone (50 mgs)., progesterone and cystine - applied nightly.

Here are some test results that I received before starting the

cream, but during the Depo:

DHEA: 1.3 (1.5-7)

Free T3: 485 (230-420)

LH: <0.7 (1.5-9.3)

Cortisol: 8.6 (4-22)

Pregnenolone: 17 (10-200)

SHBG: 12 (7-50)

FSH: <0.7 (1.6-8)

Test: 312 (241-827)

Free T: 10.7 (10-55)

Anyone have any thoughts or reactions? Given my previous success on

Clomid and current low LH, would I be someone in need of HCG??

Should I go back on Clomid? Any other options out there??

Thanks,

Bill
