Guest guest
What if you dissolve a 1mg tablet in a couple milliliters of vodka? The package insert says Adex is moderately soluble in water (0.5 mg per ml of water), and " freely soluble " in ethanol. Then you could vary the dose however you want with a syringe, and still be very accurate. Some of the fillers and excipients in the tablet might not dissolve, but you could just ignore those, or decant, since the Adex would be fully dissolved. And the alcohol would keep it sterile. Any problem with this?
Guest guest
In my opinion this would be most unwize. You're going to inject vodka into your body? Secondly, drugs taken orally probably have a completely different time release. If it's meant to be taken through the digestive tract you may reduce its effectiveness altogether. There's no telling what harm you may be doing to yourself by mixing with vodka and injecting it. wayback44 <no_reply > wrote: What if you dissolve a 1mg tablet in a couple milliliters of vodka? Guest guest
Sounds good to me. You might dissolve a hole bunch into a known quantity, say 10 1mg tabs in 20 ml vodka. That way you have 20 doses ready to go. --- wayback44 <no_reply > wrote: > What if you dissolve a 1mg tablet in a couple milliliters of vodka? > > The package insert says Adex is moderately soluble in water (0.5 mg > per > ml of water), and " freely soluble " in ethanol. > > Then you could vary the dose however you want with a syringe, and > still > be very accurate. > > Some of the fillers and excipients in the tablet might not dissolve, > but you could just ignore those, or decant, since the Adex would be > fully dissolved. > > And the alcohol would keep it sterile. > > Any problem with this? > > > ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Luggage? Guest guest
Good point. You absolutely must not inject this! Needs to be oral. Dose with a graduated dropper. --- Norsworthy <norsworthy_david@...> wrote: > In my opinion this would be most unwize. You're going to inject vodka > into your body? Guest guest
No, of course you wouldn't inject it. You would use an oral syringe, or a regular syringe with the needle removed, only to draw up a precise amount of liquid, which you would then squirt in your mouth and swallow. I thought that was understood. I use 1 ml oral syringes for stuff like this, which I get at a pet store (yes, they are sterile). About 60 cents each. As a practical matter, you can go down to the nearest 0.02 ml. with these. The only thing with liquids is you have to do the math right, which in my case means I have to take off my shoes. > > In my opinion this would be most unwize. Guest guest
Oh, I just read that increased alcohol use contributes to increased aromatase. Granted, you're discussing a small amount here but earlier on we were also discussing reducing aromatase by other than Arimidex. wayback44 <no_reply > wrote: No, of course you wouldn't inject it.
