Guest guest
I just got back from getting a blood test to see how my E2 was doing after starting Arimidex.Originally, I was injecting Depo-T at 100 mg every 10 days. This would cause me to spike to ~ 1500 ng/dl on T and my E2 was running about 56(too high). So I have dropped my T injection to 60-80 mg/7 days and started taking 0.25 mg armidex on the day of my shot. I still feel like my E2 may be too high but thought I would get tested prior to changing the dosage. My question is it seems a typical dosage is ~ 1 mg per week given in 0.5 mg dosage 2 times per week. I am doing much less than that. Are people having to take that much and if so, what does your T typically run? Even when my T was low (180 ng/dl) my E2 was 30. I don't want to overdose if possible. Thanks - Arkansas --------------------------------- Brings words and photos together (easily) with PhotoMail - it's free and works with . Guest guest
Troy stay away from Soy any Soy it is not good for men. You can try doing maga doses of C but for me it gave me the shits. Zinc helps but very little yet we need it to keep are testis healty. I take 50 mgs. with 2 mgs. of copper a day. http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html You can try Indolplex/DIM. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html Worked good for me but does not mix well with Arimidex I am up a lot higher on my T levels and this has my E2 up so I needed to add Arimidex to keep my E2 down. I can only take one tablet of Indolplex/DIM if I take more it makes me sick. Start with one tablet a day at dinner. You will know when it is working your libido will go way up and you will get real hard morning wood. If this stops stop the DIM you went to low on your E2. When your libido and wood comes back go back on it but cut the dose in half. Keep doing this until your find the right dose. Also take TMG with it DIM converts E2 to Good E's and TMG helps the liver wash them out. http://www.myvitanet.com/tmgtr75120ca.html If this does not work do Arimidex. But be sure you are high on E2 and total E's taking this will make you go to low and kill your sex life. Phil " Troy L. Guest guest
When I started HRT my E level was 48. I take 1/2mg every other day now my E level is at 18 to 20. My test levels in the 600ng range. I inject once per week 75mg. Everyone is different. The only way to really find the right dosage is to experiment with the dose and get a blood test. --- Dan Meatheany <dmeatheany@...> wrote: > I just got back from getting a blood test to see how > my E2 was doing after starting Arimidex.Originally, > I was injecting Depo-T at 100 mg every 10 days. Guest guest
Feel good. I'm 59 --HRT changed my body composition. Fat loss and muscle gain. Hit the gym 6 days a week in the early AM. Prior to HRT I dieted exercised and still gained fat. Once I got tuned the body changed. I'm no fitness model but in better shape. Just remember anytime you make an adjustment in your Test and Arimidex get a blood test. Going through a doc can be a pain for blood test though. So I use Life Extension Foundation Service. www.lef.org The tests results are easy to read and if you are a member you get a discount. I also have an HRT doc. --- Dan Meatheany <dmeatheany@...> wrote: > Thanks Remdy - how do you feel at those levels? Guest guest
What is your program I started going to the gym 10 months ago here is were I am at. Today I am 62 been on TRT for over 22 yrs. After starting on gels when they came out little by little my joints and muscles starting breaking down. My Dr. told me it is arthritis yet none of the meds helped. I posted my problem on the boards at the H2 group. Some of the guys told me they tried the gels and had the same problem. So they went on shots every week and the problem went away Fourteen months ago I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. Had an MRI on my back and it showed some small arthritis in the disks but nothing to cause this much pain. Being house bound for so long I topped out at 325 lbs and all of this time doing Weight Watchers program to try and lose the weight. I started on shots 100 mgs a week and little by little the pain was getting better. In 6 weeks my blood test showed my levels still to low 600 so my Dr. upped my shot to 150 mgs a week. Now I was doing so good I was able to start walking for exercise. And the weight starting falling off. I got up to a 45 min. walk a day and it was nothing so I asked my Dr. is I could work out with weights. He said yes but to go slow. When I started I had lost 45 lbs. I ended up going to the Old Persons Counsel her in my town you need to be over 55 to use the place. They have a work out room with 16 machines and a cadio room I was able to go there for a $1 a day. I started out slow first I went into the cadio room and started on the " Elliptical Crosstrainers " hell I lasted 5 min.'s on this. So from there to the treadmill to get wormed up. I then went into the work out room and started with a low load doing 10 reps per machine. And little by little upped the load. In 2 months I was doing 5 times the load I started with. I got up to 30 mins on the " Elliptical Crosstrainers " doing all the levels. On the machines I start on the Abdomen mach. doing a load of 75lbs doing 3 sets of 25 reps. then I turn around and do the same backwards working my back. Next I go to the Leg Extension doing a load of 35lbs 12 reps then 45 lbs 8 reps finishing at 35lbs 10 reps. Next on the same mach. I do a Leg Curl sets and reps same as above. Next the Chest Press load 40lbs 12 reps then 50lbs 8 reps finishing 40lbs 10 reps. Next the Leg Press load 145lbs 12 reps then 155lbs 8 reps finishing 145lbs 10 reps. Next the Peck Deck load 30lbs 12 reps then 35lbs 8 reps finishing 30lbs 10 reps. Next the Push-Up load 70lbs 12 reps then 75lbs 8 reps finishing 70lbs 10 reps. Next on the same mach the Pull-Down load 75lbs 12 reps then 80lbs 8 reps finishing 75lbs. Next the Adduction load 40lbs 12 reps then 45lbs 8 reps finishing 40lbs 10 reps. Next on the same mach. Abduction sets and reps same as above. Next the Curl-up load 50lbs 12 reps then 75lbs 8 reps finishing 50lbs 10 reps. Next the Curl-Down load 55lbs 12 reps then 60lbs 8 reps finishing 55lbs 10 reps. Next the Optimal Rhomb load 35lbs 12 reps 40lbs 8 reps finishing 35lbs. Next the Biceps load 30lbs 12 reps then 40lbs 8 reps finishing 30lbs. Next on the same mach. Triceps 30lbs 12 reps then 40lbs 8 reps finishing 30lbs 10 reps. So I started on this last May and got to this program by last Dec. I have not been back to 3 days a week been sick with bronchitis for 3 months now. In the last 4 weeks I have gone to the gym one day each week and it took me the rest of the day to recuperate. I am now not to go to the gym until I finish a med for Inflammation so maybe this Wed. I will be able to start back. Hell I lost over 65 lbs doing this with Weight Watchers and now put back on 15 lbs. I swear life sure has it's ups and downs. I used this link to get started. http://www.lammd.com/book/chapter6.cfm I have never felt this good on TRT in the whole 22 yrs I have been on it. Doing T shots 64mgs every 3 days and HCG 100 IU's everyday. Phil Remdy1 <anielda@...> wrote: Feel good. I'm 59 --HRT changed my body composition. Fat loss and muscle gain. Guest guest
Bill if your blood test showed you to be very high like over 70 then you would do .5 mgs a day for 2 weeks then test again to see where you at. I under 30 best at 20 then you need to cut way back on it or you will go to low. Frist thing that happened to me was I got morning wood back. This for me means I am in the zone if wood stops for me it means I went to low and I would stop taking it until wood came back then I go back on it but cut the dose. I am doing .5 mgs every 3 days to keep my E2 in the zone. Most only need to do .25 once a week. Anyone take that much? What little i have read say it is a strong drug and smoall doseages are needed like 1 MG a weeK divided up .Some folks split it into quarters. Anyone want to discuss their doeeages . I am doing 1 mg a week divided into 2 doseases and will have estradoil and T tesrs soon to see how i am doing? Guest guest
I was doing 0.25 mgs (1/4th of a pill) every 7 days and it drove my E2 too low. Currently doing 0.25 mgs every 2-3 weeks. It is strong stuff!! Hi, 1) ag-guys doesn't have the greatest rep on the quality of their products... so what THEY say is " 1mg " of their liquidex may be 1/4mg... 2) they're also selling to the body building crowd... and these guys can be doing 500mg+ mg of test a week... plus other aromatizable steroids (like dianabol)... so at those dosages it may take a 1/2mg a day. Guest guest
My doc has me on 1 mg/day. My levels are now in the low end of the lab range. It seems like a lot to me, given everything I've read here and other places. --------------------------------- How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates. Guest guest
Arimidex has a half life of about 48-50 hours. That means its levels keep accumulating, driving your E2 lower. The trick is finding a dose that hits a near steady level that is acceptable physiologically. Nobody I've heard of has managed to do it. Also as E2 levels and aromotase levels vary from person to person, and add in body size, fat content, etc. the levels are highly variable between individuals. Most take a small dose every few days (I'm talking about a 1/4 tablet every 4 days or so, and then occasionally take a 7 day break or so to avoid clear the accumulation.) Even on 1/4 tablets every 4 days i drove my levels too low and crashed - confirmed by blood work. But yeah 1/2 and mg a day will crash you pretty darn quick I would suspect. ________________ I am human; nothing in humanity is alien to me. I was already warned by this group to go easy on that stuff. So I split in in .25mg per week and my E2 bottomed out at 6. So I got off of it until I could get an erection which took about a month to come back. I am now going to take .25 every 10 to 12 days to see how that works. You are correct it is a potent LITTLE DEVIL. Glad now I didn't follow his directions, easY does it! Yes I quarter mine too.
