Guest guest
Hi, I have looked through most of the files but can't seem to find what I am looking for so maybe some of you can help me. I am looking for medical journal articles that recommend hCG for secondary hypogonadism and articles on controlling estradiol by using arimides or DIM. I have seen recommendations on this in various places such as in this group, some of the files, and Shippen's book but am looking for medical journal articles to show to a doctor to try this type of treatment. Thanks Ray

I am 65 with T level that range from 125 to 250. LH and FSH about 1.5. Estradiol 39. I do not have most of the classic low T symptoms. I went to an endo who tried Testim which had no positive results. It is his only treatment method. I found a urologist whose nurse says he is more open minded about treatment options. I am not sure I want to start TRT yet and am looking for other options. Therefore I am looking for some professional articles with footnotes and bells and whistles to convince a doctor to be a little more open minded about treatment methods. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/5/2595 seems to deal more with fertility issues so it would be a hard sell to a doctor. www.allthingsmale.com TRT: A Recipe for Success while interesting, I do not think would go very far in convincing a doctor. Guest guest
Ray I am 62 have had low T for over 22 yrs. and seen a lot of Dr.'s that did me no good. You can do what your trying to do but I feel it is a waste of time. You levels are way do low for T and high for E2. I have this link that shows in a study getting E2 down will bring up Total and Free. T but you are so low I don't feel this will help but you can try it. My Dr. will do this with new men but there T levels were up around 350 to 450 and getting there Estradiol " E2 " down brought there Total T up 200 to 300 points. http://www.medibolics.com/ArimidexBoostsTestosterone.htm Many men on TRT have shown Dr. 's treatment protocol to there Dr.'s and told them like I did that they need to try this and there Dr. put them on it. You can't do this with a Endo they feel they are above other Dr.'s. I have no use for them and when you are told by a Dr. that they only do one kind of TRT it is a flag going up you need to find a new Dr. A lot of things can go wrong on TRT and if one kind of med does not work the other will if testim did nothing for your then you need to go shots starting at 100 mg. a week and you need to do them every week. I hope you find the right Dr. and get on meds so you can do better. Are you up on the problems that men have with levels as low as yours. Bone loss, feeling of depression with panic attacks, muscle and joint pain, heart problems after all the heart is a muscle and needs T , prostate problems with ED and trouble reaching a orgasm just to name a few. Guest guest
Ray a lot of guys in your shoes fly in to see Dr. here is his site www.allthingsmale.com as a last resort you can see him once and he will treat you through Emale or on the phone. Ordering tests and giving you scrips for your meds. I don't know if I told you about him or not but do go to his site and read TRT: A Recipe for Success and his HCG Update. I showed this to my Dr. 14 months ago and told my Dr. I need to try this. He read it and sad ok now I am doing the best I ever did on TRT in the 22 yrs I have had this.
