Colloidal Silver

The choices people make are to suit their own circumstances.

You can buy CS at health stores or from the internet (search colloidal silver)

at a common cost of ~$20 /4oz bottle.

You can make your own generator or buy a generator and create CS for the cost of

distilled water from the grocers (~$1.00/gallon).

Generating time is on the order of 45 minutes.

If you do your own, you can make a lot, which translates into using a lot for

practically no cost. It's VERY versatile.

ALL of this will show up on a net search.

Chuck, do you have a website on that with that price? I have never been able

to find it that low.

I'm on the silver list and I've been making my own colloidal silver for about 3

years now.

It's simple enough to do requiring 3 9volt batteries snapped together, 2 clip

leads from Radio Shack, and 2 six inch pieces of silver wire of a purity of at

least 999 fine.

Bend the wire so it resembles a hairpin and will stay in place clipped over the

edge of a drinking glass. Fill with distilled water. Attach the clip leads from

each wire to the open battery terminals (remember, you snapped 3 batteries

together, and have two terminals open).

Let the process go for 30-45 minutes and you're done.

Do not add salt or anything else to the water to speed it up. That's old hat and

has been discredited.

One of the list contributers is a dealer (there are several) who sells CS for

very reasonable prices, CS generators, as well as being a source of silver wire

of the necessary purity. Take a look at http://apothecary.hypermart.net/

A good deal of info there also.

Water Oz is also a trusted brand.

The scare word with silver is a coloration of the skin called agryia. This is

NOT a factor with colloidal silver!!! It is associated with silver salts and

compounds NOT colloidal silver.

I would be a total shame for anyone to turn away from this rediscovered miracle.

I wish I had this when the kids were going to school.

I take a self administered maintenance dose of a shot glass every day. For 3

years, no colds, flu or other infections. Clean breath, no tongue coating, no

cavities, no plaque buildup. I use it in my homemade eyedrops also.

Household uses are too numerous to mention, you really should do an engine

search.

regarding your disc, knee cartilage and arthritis problems: PROLOTHERAPY

treatments will almost always do very wonderful things for these

problems. I know from my own experience and others who have been

successfully treated. There is probably a practitioner in Vegas. I will

ask Doc Pomeroy here in Phoenix when I see him on Wednesday.

To the person that asked if there is too much of a good thing when it comes

to colloidal silver...from what I have heard..the answer is yes. I don't

have any actual links to post here right now to confirm that but you can do

a search on your own. Some problems reported from over using colloidal

silver include a condition which causes blue skin and nails. I never had the

problem myself, but then never used colloidal in large amounts. And, also to

the person that has sinusitis...it's probably been suggested already, but I

really believe the colloidal could offer some relief of your symptoms. I've

used it myself for all kinds of things, but mainly for aleviating cold

symptoms and shortening my cold when I get one, and also for stomach pain.

You're talking about the condition called Argyria.

Not to worry!

It doen't happen with colloidal silver. It does with overuse of silver compounds

and/or silver salts.

Someone else mentioned recently about drinking 35% peroxide, mistaking it for

water. About 6 years ago, I made a similar mistake and ended up in the

emergency room with internal burns to my intestines, blood loss, and SEVERE

cramping. The intake nurse couldn't understand what hydrogen peroxide had to

do with an enema, and wanted to put on my chart that I was TRYING to hurt

myself, which would've landed me in the suicide ward. She gave me a stern

reprimand for " self-medicating " and admitted to the emergency room with a

" chemical accident. " I was pretty fortunate, but it's mistakes like that

that give fuel to the fire (and the media) to jump on and say " look what

happened to this person using natural therapies...blah, blah, blah. "

SO, please let me say now, you should never put a substance meant for healing

in another bottle without clearly labeling it, putting it out of reach, or

simply in it's own labeled unique container. Colloidal silver won't do any

damage that I'm aware of by drinking 12oz....but consider if that had been

35% H2O2.

Not trying to be harsh...I just hate to see anyone harmed or killed by a

product that's meant to heal, simply because it was in the wrong container.

" Last February I had gone to the dentist with a recently root canaled

and crowned tooth because of pain. I already had $800 in it. Sure

enough, xrays revealed an infection in a former unremoved nerve. The

doctor wanted to pull it and I refused. Said he could have an

endodontist do surgery on it for another $800.

* Brown Recluse (spider bite)

" Several months ago I was at my In-Laws house sitting on the porch

and noticed a spider. After examining it we decided it was a " Brown

Recluse " and tried to catch it but it got away. The following morning

I awoke with a very large burning, itching and swollen bite. It must

have climbed onto my skirt and I carried it home. The bite was the

size of a half dollar and marked with a " Bulls-eye " design. The

surrounding tissue was very sore and discolored also.

I immediately applied colloidal silver to the area and took the

silver internally as well. The biggest problem with a recluse spider

bite is severe tissue damage, I took the silver 3 times daily

internally and externally and within 2 weeks the bite was completely

gone with no tissue damage whatsoever! I have a very slight

* Pneumonia

" One year ago I was diagnosed with pneumonia. Even though I was

regulary seeing a doctor for high blood pressure, the BP Rx (blood

pressure medication) was causing shortness of breath and I was

smoking and had developed mild emphysema.

It was getting worse and I was terribly tired from a lack of oxygen.

One night I awoke because I couldn't breathe and called 911. The

doctors there told me I had pneumonia partly caused by the BP Rx. I

was given an antibiotic, steriods, etc. and got better but still not

well. I quit smoking. 3 months later - same thing. 2 months later--

again. I was told to expect to need treatment every 2 or 3 months.

The large amount of antibiotics and steroids were making me sicker

breath better than I had in years and my energy started coming back.

Candida, a Problem Easily Solved!

Candida, Yeast Infections, and Athlete's Foot

(News Article written by Marvin Robey - one of the premiere

researchers in the field of colloidal silver)

" Yeast and mold infections are among the most difficult to treat of

human ailments. Some of them are also among the most debilitating,

such as candida yeast. Candida yeast will readily grow in any moist

area of the body, such as the mouth ( " thrush " ), groin ( " jock itch " ),

vagina ( " yeast infection " ), and intestines.

Candida yeast is found naturally in the body, but is normally kept

under control by friendly bacteria, such as acidophilus. But candida

yeast often gets out of control following the use of antibiotics. The

antibiotic kills off the friendly acidophilus and aerobic bacteria

but does not affect the yeast. Without the friendly organisms such as

the multiple strains of acidophilus to control it, candida grows

fast.

The excess sugar of diabetes will also provide food for yeast,

causing it to proliferate. Diabetics are therefore especially prone

to this type of problem.

The intestines form perfect breeding grounds for candida. If the

condition becomes bad enough, eventually the candida irritate an area

of the intestine so much that their toxins penetrate the intestinal

wall into the blood stream, where they can break down the immune

system. Soon the candida infection itself passes through the

intestinal wall and the white blood cells are consumed in their

struggle to control the infection, further destroying the immune

system.

Thus, candida is a common contributor to many diseases and

conditions, such as AIDS, cancer, chronic fatigue syndrome, colds,

flus, etc.. Almost all disease and health problems are greatly

aggravated by candida.

Candida can sometimes be controlled by increasing the acidity of the

body, especially the area the yeast is growing in. This can be done

by eating acid foods, such as vinaigrette salad dressings, and by

applying vinegar mixed with water to the problem area.

The best antibiotic commonly used to treat this condition is

Nystatin. But Nystatin is only marginally effective against yeast,

and remember that the problems probably started with the use of

antibiotics to begin with.

Normally the body can handle minor yeast infections. However, when

the yeast reaches the infectious stage wherein it is poisoning the

blood and the immune system grows weak, such infections as athlete's

foot, vaginal yeast infections, and fungus infections under the nails

cannot be fought off.

A common treatment for the general infection is a diet completely

free of all sugars, even fruit and starches along with taking

Nystatin. However, anyone who has tried this treatment will tell you

that this very strict diet is almost impossible to follow and does

little more than keep the infection from proliferating.

The most effective tools against yeast infections of all kinds are

acidophilus (yogurt), colloidal silver, and upper colonics. Combined,

they can rid the body of yeast infections about as fast as the body

can dispose of the toxins from dead cultures... "

Personally, I don't believe in remedies. I believe in creating health

through healthy acts. However, my good friend and holistic health expert,

Phil Hoffman, swears by the stuff. I question, though, how you can kill a

virus, when a virus is not alive.

many people make their own colloidal silver (we have done this too) and

don't check their ppm (parts per million) and their SIZE of the particles of

silver.

I only buy from a reputable source - and always check these things. The

silver water should be CLEAR and you should not see particles floating

around. This is PROPERLY done colloidal silver. Also the water should not

be yellow.

I've used it safely for years and years... and I thank the Lord that this

has kept our children free of antibiotics.

I was excited when I first read about colloidal silver in Jeanne Marie

's " Complete Candida Yeast Guidebook " (pg.86), but she says that:

" ...Critics of colloidal silver claim that accumulated silver causes kidney

damage, pulmonary edema, arterioscleroisis, and death...One should be aware

that the long term use of colloidal silver increases the risk of developing

a condition called argyria, whereby excess silver is deposited in the skin

and tissues, causing discoloration and skin damage. Colloidal silver could

conceivably work well as a homeopathic remedy for a braod range of

infectious diseases ona short term basis... "

So I'm wondering how safe it actually is?? Any comments from those who are

taking it?? How long have you been taking it for and at what dosage??

I must point out that she also states: " ...Whle this may true of high doses

of silver, it does not apply to the typical doses of colloidal silver

recommended by natural health-care practitioners... "

Hi there

I make my own CS and belong to the Colloidal Silverlist. CS is safe in the

colloidal form. You have to ingest heaps of silver to get the condition

that you speak of, and it's usually silver nitrate that's the culprit, not

Colloidal Silver. There has been a lot of studies done last century and

this one, to test the safety and efficacy of CS. So far, no one has been

able to prove CS unsafe. Much safer than antibiotics, with all there side

effects. CS has none. It does not produce resistant strains. I can send
