i totally agree, i just happen to like natural substances but if you

find your health in something like colloidal silver, good for you!

i like the idea of a whole life approach to healing and that means,

rest, food, herbs, stress reduction, and so forth

well thx for the input!

I am considering trying some CS before I just jump in and buy a

generator. Does anyone know where to buy it? What properties are

important when looking for a brand? Is it better to make your own? If

anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it....

Kat,

Buy it on the shelf & waste your money! For under $30 you can make an excellent

CS maker. I posted instructions, with sources, to another list. I'll look for

it. Remind me.

Hi all,

I'm a new member, I suffer from a hypothyroid also have rosacea and am a

member of that site. I recently started trying colloidal silver as an

alternative to doxycycline I was put on for my rosacea. Has anyone used

this? in this list? I am also a lacto-ovo vegetarian (all my life). I also

read that soya/gluten can cause low thyroid function is this true??

Jim,

thanks

for the info about colloidal silver. I managed to find and join an

email list, though it wasn't real easy. Do you know of any lists than

the one on Club? It doesn't seem to have a search function for

archived messages. Not much on onelist.com. I kinda like the idea of

making my own medicine with some silver, a couple of electrodes and a

battery. I will lick this candida yet.

What did

you use this stuff for?

Does

anyone know if continuing to take stabilized oxygen in water is okay

when used with colloidal silver?

thanks

Dan,

I wouldn't use colloidal silver & stabilized oxygen in the same

glass of water. One never knows what will react with what. Not

that it would be bad, but it could waste some of the good if the

O2 combined with the silver. Come to think of it, I wouldn't want

that.

I would be very leary of taking mega doses of colloidal silver. I have

heard that it can turn your skin color silver/grey, and will not necessarily

go away. I have no doubt that if you take too much of this it can be

toxic. Go this website and get one story:

http://www.healthcentral.com/drdean/deanfulltexttopics.cfm?id=13531 I did

take this for a short while and feel that it did nothing for me.

There is no evidence that colloidal silver made by high voltage

electricity and distilled water will cause your skin color to change

to the grey-blue color. Colloidal silver products that are being

made today do not cause this problem. The colloidal silver

made in the 30s, 40s, and 50s was made by a different process.

The article you list is giving misleading information.

I would have to agree that too much silver, however it is made, will be

toxic, and will lead to the grey-blue skin. Dissolved ionic silver is the

active ingredient, and is the same regardless of how the colloid was made in

the first place.

There are a couple of reasons that the " modern " colloidal silver might not

have shown this reaction (besides spin control)

1) people now know enough that they avoid ODing on silver

2) the silver from the high-voltage method is less available than that made

by the earlier methods, leading to lower accumulation (but also to lower

effectiveness).

Hi Carla! I can make some comments about Colloidal Silver. I have been using

it for a year now and can testify that it works very well as a natural

antibiotic (if ingested) or antiseptic (if applied to the skin). The Vitamin

Shoppe sells a pamphlet about it, and there are websites you could search. For

it to work for me I have to drink 16 oz. a day. One thing to look for is the

lack of suspended particles in the liquid. If there are particles, then do not

buy it or drink it, since it wonn't have any effect. I make my own at home, so

can not recommend a particular brand.

- accupuncture

Carla:

I have used accupuncture for my symprtoms and did have improvement in some

but not all of my symptoms. It is interesting that you asked about

accupunture in the same post as the problem with your tongue as

accupuncturists use the tongue as a diagnostic tool. I believe a coating on

the tongue is seen as " heat " in an organ system. I'm still taking chinese

herbs that I got through my accupunturist but have taken a break on the

treatments as she just had a baby. Let me know if you have other questions..

Hi :

In your reply to Joyce re: Immunocal you mentioned that colloidal complexes

with proteins, but that is not necessarily bad. I'm curious what the

ramifications are of this complexing. Colloidal silver was recommended for

my daughter years ago, and I have used it, but I know very little about it.

Any enlightenment you can provide would be much appreciated. My best to

Colloidal silver is a safe and useful product. It is very cheap if you

make it yourself. Those who sell it at a high markup tend to exaggerate

it's benefits. Be careful to avoid the use of soluble silver salts. That

is where you can run into trouble.

When you begin checking out Immunocal you also need to check out Transfer

Factor Plus. Transfer Factor Plus has over 50 years of research behind it

and over $40,000,000 spent on discovery. You will find that Transfer Factor

Plus works with your immune system in ways that no other product is able to

do. Once you evaluate the research behind Transfer Factor Plus, you will see

that everyone you know should be taking this product.

As far as colloidal silver goes, we were going to use it, but both of our

natural doctors were adamantly against it internally. I did however use it

on a wart, and it went away in days. Just rubbed some in 3 or 4x daily, and

covered with a band-aid soaked in it.<<

Is that safe while breastfeeding?? I have had three planters warts that I

When my son was 5 months old I got mastitis while I was breastfeeding. I

only took a 1 tsp dose of colloidal silver and my infection was gone! It

is safe while breastfeeding but I wouldn't take more than a couple of

doses though. It's not safe to take while pregnant, however.

I used it during my pregnancy. I did not know much about it and still really

don't. It seems like the silver debate is not much different then the

vaccine debate. Anyway my girlfriend who did not vaccinate told me to just

put a drop or two in my drinking water ( a gallon jug) to keep me from

getting sick. Well I never did get sick and no problems in my preg.. of

course after I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. You have never heard of

problems because of this have you? I would not think so but who knows.

It is funny to look back in my life and think of all the things I have put

my poor body through. Now that I am older I am more concerned. Lets see boob

job, lipo two times, c section, I used to occasionally smoke pot, when I was

between 18-22 drank at least 3 times a week. Diet up and down up and down.

(unknowingly having a thyroid problem). Work out queen now I do nothing at

all really. Then I got saved (I am a Christian) and ever since then I am way

more conscious of my decisions, but I try to find balance in everything. I

have learned taking things to one extreme and another causes more stress

then anything.

I am venting I guess. I am certainly not advocating vaccines, but when I

look back at everything my body has gone through and you look at drug

abusers etc. the body really is amazing.

I've never used colloidal silver and have too much going on to try and

generate it. I'm wondering what the most popular premade variety of it

would be or do you have to make your own or what? J.

Generating time is on the order of 45 minutes.

If you do your own, you can make a lot, which translates into using a lot for

ALL of this will show up on a net search.

Hi Chuck and All,

Chuck you say you can make the colliodal silver for $1.00 a gallon. That

sounds great to me, I love collodial silver but can't always get it when I

need it. When you make your own how do you know if it is as good as what you

can buy? And where can I get a generator, how much are they? Which would you

recommend? I am asking cause it sounds like you have experience with this.

And I really would like to know how collodial silver would be for a 1 year

old? Thank You for your help.
