But I wanted to get this out there so I can hopefully get some responses. I went to my doctor this morning - my hand x-rays were normal - my CTScan did show arthritis in all 3 areas of my spine (cervical, thoracic and lumbar) He also thinks my pain may be due to some changes in my nerve patterns - for the life of me I cannot remember the word he used. He gave me some BEXTRA to try - 10 mg once a day - to help with the stiffness Also, a prescription fro DEPAKOTE - and antiseizure, bipolar med to help with my nerve pain. These are to be taken on top of my Oxycontin, Effexor (for hypersensitivity not depression), Phentermine (weightloss med that helps with pain), Sinemet (for restless legs) and Synthroid (for hypothroidism) Just wondering what you guys think of this new " cocktail " I am on....LOL!! I have never taken so many medications in my life! I have only taken my Oxycontin and Effexor for a long time and the Phentermine when I had a doctor who would prescribe it and/or when I could afford it.
