Hi everyone,

I had a question about making silicone molds I made two molds at the same time

with the same type of models in the same bowl. 1 came out so that the items I

am pouring are nice and smoothe. The other one comes out very rough looking.

Is there something I can do to prevent this from occuring in the future?

Bob, thanks for the hints about the silicone. Yes, I was very

surprised that the small details didn't break off. The soap is very

cute and I plan on offering this, with other small soaps, for shower

favors.

I think I'll try shaving off the excess on the mold I have to see if it

makes a difference after I pour a soap.

Have a great vacation! Will contact you privately re: mold components.

Jeanine

Anyone here make candles and have candle insurance? I want to get into

candles and incense, but I don't dare without insurance. I know it's

expensive, but my house and life aren't worth the risk. I have contacted

several companies and I can't find any insurance. I have my bath products

covered with RLI, but they won't touch candles.
