I am getting a little anxious about my visit to the new rheumy on aug 11th. I am just trying to keep a positive attitude and say to myself this one will help me. I just hope that he doesnt try to put me on plaquenil of azulfidine or anything else i have tried. I really want to try the methotrexate or enbrel it seems that alot of people have had good luck with that. Again i just want to say how happy I am to have found this group. I know that you all understand my pain and how i feel. I am always on here in the evenings after work. I always want to the read the new posts. I see that everyone here is going through what I am and more and I realize I'm not alone anymore. Hold firm with your doctor and just say no when he offers you drugs that didn't work in the past. It's a waste of paper, time and your pain. Just tell him right off these didn't help me and I want to try MTX or Enbrel. I think sometimes they do respect us more when they know we are informed. At least that's what I tell myself..lol. You'll do just fine and remember he works for you. Take care and glad you are enjoying the group.
