Hi All,

I am new to this board but not new to P and PA. I've been on lots of

stuff, and for the last 15 years MTX plus whatever else the docs

could throw at me. Now, I'm on MTX and Enbrel combo and ...Dare I

say it? It's working on all counts. The shots are a breeze to me.

I'd jab myself 20 times a day to get the results I've been getting

(please keep working...please keep working) I woke up in the middle

of the night last night and swear I was better than when I went to

bed. I have no side effects with the enbrel.

MTX has been great for me and kept me from much damage and I haven't

been so excited about any drug or treatment since I first went on

it, but now with enbrel and other biologicals, I feel it's a new

revolution and maybe the beginning of the end of suffering for many

conditions.

I will be going to the chat tonight, and was actually hoping for

something on a Tuesday which is so cool, because I am free on this

night. It's so exciting to find such a large group that has an

actual scheduled chat. Triple Yay!

Hi Lori! And, Welcome! Good to hear that you are getting relief from your

meds! It is always nice to hear that someone is being helped by a certain

drugs or a combination of them. It gives hope to those who aren't. (Va.)

Lori, I'm as excited as you with my one shot today. It's wonderful. The self

stick is nothing & I'm a real baby about everything. Wwe'll pray

together... " Let it work, let it work " I still have some aches and hurts, but I

feel so much better!!! Sylvia
