Guest guest
Hi - My name is Tamar. I live in England. My PA has begun to affect my tendons more than anything - painful and limiting. I'm looking for anything that people can offer by way of help in treating this tendon pain. I was on NSAIDs for years - mainly Indomethacin/Indocid/Indocin, until it resulted in intestinal ulceration, so stopped it. I was then put on a 'cox inhibitor', something similar, but meant to be kinder on the guts. Hard to tell how much it helps - how much worse might I be without it? I also get occasional physiotherapy including hands-on and ultra sound which I find helpful. I take a raft of supplements including all the standards like glucosamine and fish oil. I also a lot of oily fish and have eliminated acids from my diet. I also use a little 'electro-acupuncture' gizmo which gives temporary relief. So any help of any kind on the tendon front especially would be welcome.
