Guest guest
Before investing in a hot tub you may be able to try it at a motel/hotel. There is one near me that sells monthly passes. I did that for months. It was $44.00 a month for a 2 person pass. It is hard for my working friends to commit to a schedule so I would take whoever was available and we had a really good time and got our exercise too. I would still be doing it but I am experiencing so much more fatigue that I decided to get my own so I can come directly home from work, do the hot tub then rest until going to work the next day. At least that is my plan....we'll see how it works. I also plan to exercise as much as possible so I won't turn the heat up as high as someone who just wants to sit and soak would. Guest guest
Not a bad idea. Another is buying one used. My medical plan would not cover the purchase of one (and I don't blame them- they pay out enough for my Enbrel) and my CPA advised strongly against trying to claim it on my taxes. He said that it sends such a red flag, that it isn't worth the risk of an audit- even if everything in my taxes was legitimate and accounted for, the stress in the end would do me more harm than good. So I combed the local newspaper and " Paper Shop " until I found a nice, inexpensive Softub. It isn't the most glamorous spa. It's mildly ugly and only seats two people- but it works. Nice and soothing. Instead of spending thousands, it cost me about $500. -L cheri yost <cdyost@...> wrote: Before investing in a hot tub you may be able to try it at a motel/hotel. Guest guest
Another alternative to a hot tub is a jetted bath tub. I have one called a hydroswirl and I just love it. It you are remodeling your bathroom or building a new house check into this. What I like about it you don't have to use any chemicals. Sometimes I use it twice a day.
