so sorry you are having a bad flare.

I am new to enbrel so I can't help you, but I am on my 15th injection and it

doesn't seem

to working it's magic for me. But I am still hopeful.

And I have P in ny nose and it is one of the most irritating things!

Vaseline helps for me, just a thin coat , it doesn't smell so bad as some

meds and

it won't irritate the membranes either.

It took me two full months on Enbrel to even START to see results with the P and

the PA......THe biologics vary from person to person and are not always " fast

acting " .

Does Mobic have any side-effects ?

Definitely. It's very sore and bleeds often. Topical steroid cream works

best.

Carole,

I take Enbrel and I could see the difference with the very first

injection, I know others it has taken longer to see a decent effect.

As far as The DMARDS, the only one I ever took was Azulfizine.

Changed doses several times, went up to four pills twice a day,

(2000mg total)I know mexth was never an option for me since I have

not had any children and I'm only 25, docs never would even consider

it.
