Guest guest
Hi Carole, so sorry you are having a bad flare. I am new to enbrel so I can't help you, but I am on my 15th injection and it doesn't seem to working it's magic for me. But I am still hopeful. And I have P in ny nose and it is one of the most irritating things! Vaseline helps for me, just a thin coat , it doesn't smell so bad as some meds and it won't irritate the membranes either. Guest guest
It took me two full months on Enbrel to even START to see results with the P and the PA......THe biologics vary from person to person and are not always " fast acting " . It's very sore and bleeds often. Topical steroid cream works best. Greg. Guest guest
Greg- I don't get P in my nose, but I do get it in my ear canals. Not pleasant. -L Greg <hendo7@...> wrote: Hi. Guest guest
Carole, I take Enbrel and I could see the difference with the very first injection, I know others it has taken longer to see a decent effect. As far as The DMARDS, the only one I ever took was Azulfizine. Changed doses several times, went up to four pills twice a day, (2000mg total)I know mexth was never an option for me since I have not had any children and I'm only 25, docs never would even consider it. Good luck and I hope you get some relief soon.
