Guest guest
You stated in answer to my post that 5HTP, Coenzyme Q10, theanine, tyrosine etc recommended by my son's doctor, while not addressing adrenal issues, address certain cognitive and behavioral issues and may help with them. What specifically do they help with, what kinds of behavior and cognition? I am not sure I understand much about COQ10,despite what I have read about it, beyond its being a powerful antioxidant and helping with heart problems, and 5HTP and theanine, other than that they would help my son be calmer before bed and tyrosine to make him more alert in the morning. I am trying to determine if I really need to supplement with these for my son, or again if the adrenal cortex extract would take care of the bedtime issues by regulating the adrenals. I do not want to give him supplements he does not need, but can't seem to rely upon our doctor to get accurate info it seems. Would appreciate some guidance on this.
