OT Gastric emptying scan and radiation-- need advise

My daughter has been diagnosed with gastroperasis and her new motility GI

specialist wants to repeat a test that involves a radioactive solution.

Unfortunately I can't refuse it as this is the way he evaluates how severe

her G is before doing anything about it.

Is there anything I can give her to help he body get rid of it faster?
