Guest guest
Has anyone with allergies benefited from taking LDN? I have allergies to molds, grasses, dust, smoke, etc. While years ago they really bothered me, and I was also sensitive to many foods, I seem to have outgrown the most annoying symptoms. However, during certain seasons when colds are going around, if I catch a cold, it triggers my asthma and I can cough for 3+ months after the cold is gone. When I asked my doctor if LDN might stop me from the debilitating cough, she said what it might do is keep me from catching the cold in the first place. She gave me Rx's for 1.5 mg and 3 mg to try which I started 2 1/2 weeks ago. I got it from Skip's Pharmacy. I started with 1.5 mg and worked up to 3 mg. I'll try 4.5 mg in a while. My sleep was disturbed in the beginning but I started taking it earlier, like 9:30 to 10:00 pm instead of midnight or later and that seems to help and I'm not bothered now. Fortunately, I am not suffering from a serious disease, so it is difficult for me to know if it is doing anything for me. I would appreciate hearing from others about this as I don't want to wait until my next cold to evaluate LDN. Smoke will trigger my asthma too, causing me to cough. Once I start, I can cough just as long as after a cold. Thanks for your input, PFox

Guest guest
My severe allergies also disappeared the last 2 years on LDN. Amazing!!! I take the LDN for MS but this was a great bonus. Guest guest
Try to avoid all food fermented or containing yeast. If this don't help..consider using prednisone for some weeks, dose not higher than 10 mg:-) Ingrid From: Bren <TwisterAlley2@...>low dose naltrexone Sent: Sunday, December 28, 2008 4:05:17 AMSubject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: LDN and allergies>> I have been breaking out in hives, caused by my Crohn's/Colitis.
