Guest guest
We bought a reverse osmosis filter and installed it under our kitchen sink. We bought it at Lowe’s. Could Andy or any of you recommend one that is good. I've been reading about the Multi-Pure systems. Also I thought Jordon Rubin (Maker's Diet)might have something about it in one of his books or website. These things are expensive and I want to make sure I do my homework. I do have a distiller by Waterwise. A friend told me that they not only take all the minerals out of the water but they rob your body of minerals too. I looked into it and decided not to use it. It might be the best choice though. I'd rather have a system right at my faucet if possible. Thanks, Cassandra

Someone in my local support group did a lot of research on this and allowed me to use his info on my site http://www.danasview.net/filter.htm Dana
Guest guest
Not Andy here, but commenting anyway. We have a GE whole house filter and then filter water for drinking and cooking a second time through a PUR pitcher filter. One advantage of a whole house is that it reduces your chlorine exposure during showering/bathing. Chlorine is absorbed through the skin and causes all kinds of problems. Even most whole house filters don't take the fluoride out, unfortunately. Hi ...where in the plumbing is this installed. Is it expensive? It sounds like a good idea. ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
You want a filter to take out the minerals because they have lots of heavy metal minerals in the water. Replenish with colloidal minerals. Colloidal minerals do wonders for our kids. I have a whole house filter system. I love it. It makes the water look, smell and taste great. I do not notice any chlorine smell, and I don't get hard water stains or build-up anywhere in my house. Therefore, much less to clean. And the best part is I don't have to breath chlorine smell when I shower. Here is what I have: _http://www.allergybuyersclubshopping.com/aquasana-whole-house-water-filters.htm\ l?id=1_ (http://www.allergybuyersclubshopping.com/aquasana-whole-house-water-filters.htm\ l?id=1) Heidi N ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
