I am sorry to say that Charlie Hall, my dad, passed away on

Saturday, September 10th at 52 years-old. He has been battling

small cell lung cancer since February 2003. We found out that it

has spread to his brain in June 2004. He seemed to be doing okay

other than being weak and tired at times. We had lunch together on

August 24th and he was fine. He even snatched the bill and ran to

pay it before I could. On August 28th, he started having problems

walking and his condition quickly deteoriated after that. We were

not even able to leave him alone because he would try to get up and

lose his balance and fall. I am in complete shock because I never

thought he would go down hill so fast. During the last week, we

were having to spoon feed him because he was not coordinated enough

to feed himself. It has been a rough few weeks for our family. I

assumed it would happen graually if it even did. He was a very

strong man.

I appreciate all the support and advice I have recieved from

everyone over the past few months. He never completely stuck with

any alternative treatments even though I tried to convince him and

left emails from this group around his house where he would read

them. He did clean up his diet a lot which I think did help him.

Even though my dad passed away, I am still looking in to

preventative measures for my husband and I and our two little girls.

Thanks,
