Guest guest
Has she had her tumor tested for the HER-2 gene? There is a nonchemo drug called Herceptin which attacks cancer cells that have an overabundance of HER-2 receptors. Also, look into the Budwig Oil- Protein Diet. The base of the diet consists of flaxseed oil and cottage cheese blended together. Do a search for " Dr. Johanna Budwig " which will bring up more information regarding her work. It's a start. It would help to know the exact prognosis of her cancer such as if she is ER/PR negative or positive, and her HER-2 level. > All, > > I am in a pretty desperate situation and am looking to maintain hope. > > My wife has battled breast cancer for the past two years and has seen > it return in her liver, back, shoulder and (now) one of her lungs. > The doctor has candidly told me he can really do nothing else of > promise. Guest guest
Rob, Go to the FlaxSeedOil2 group. I will forward you the subscription page. The protocol is the simplest and IMHO the most successful. It has been around for over 59 years and has many terminal patients recover. But don't wait to get the full protocol , Just get some low lignan flax Oil and low or no fat cottage cheese. Blend 6 tablespoons(measuring spoons, not tableware, they are smaller) with 12 tablespoons (measuring) of cottage cheese. A hand held blender makes this fast and easy to clean up. Add fruit or fruit juice if you like it thin. Then grind 2 Tbsp of flax seed (a coffee grinder does a perfect job. Add to mix. If this is too much for her to eat at one time, spread it out. You will get all the info on what else you should do from the site , feel free to ask me for any help. My address is rresmith@... I am going to forward the Flax site subscription page to you. Guest guest
Rob, I may know of something that can help. Can we talk off line? E-mail me at mona@... Thanks, Mona [ ] Wife's Cancer - Your Insight All, I am in a pretty desperate situation and am looking to maintain hope. My wife has battled breast cancer for the past two years and has seen it return in her liver, back, shoulder and (now) one of her lungs. The doctor has candidly told me he can really do nothing else of promise. He said that in his opinion, her time is short. We seem to have exhausted what " western " medicine can do. Is there anything that can turn this around given how advanced everything is? (She is currently in the hospital following surgery to implant a permanent pain pump - her pain has been awful through this experience. She also needs oxygen at times to maintain an oxygen saturation rate that is acceptable). If you can offer suggestions, hope or prayers, they would be MOST welcomed. She is only 29 and we have two beautiful children who love their Mom with all their heart (as do I). Thank You and God Bless You All! Guest guest
Rob, Now that you are on overload from all of our responses, I would like to say a few things. I ran out and bought a number of books. When you are in the research stage there is just so much time to sit and read. You need consolidation. I would go to the sites. THe two sites I sent you turned my son away from thyroid surgery into alternatives. There were other good sites sent I am sure as well. Cancer doesn't kill. It is what we put into our body that does. The allopathic meds, poor diet and the pollutants that we have no control over in the environment. Build up the immune system, which is oxygenating the body. FEAR will kill. I look at cancer as a wake up call. A knock to say stop and change. I would stay away from the doctors because everytime your wife will go fear will set in. Nothing like that to suppress the immune system. Find movies and TV programs that she will LAUGH at. Nothing depressing. Laughter is the best medicine. Support her by doing the same protocol as she. On the Budwig protocol you do the preventive and she do the cancer. Fresh vegetable juices are for all. You are welcome to email me rhodaf@.... If you want to talk you can email me with your phone number or I can give you mine. Rhoda
