I've been told that even though it could be problematic and addictive for most people, it's not for people with FM and CFS because it affects us differently. In fact, it's supposed to be beneficial by resetting our sleep patterns. It's not to be taken long term, only 30 days in a row then stop taking it, after 30 days it's supposed to reset things for us. It sounds great, but what's the reality? Anyone have any success or failures with it that they care to share? Thanks, Elyse >> Elyse Phototherapy (light therapy) can also reset the sleep/wake cycle. Guest guest
Dear , Hi. I'm new to this list, and haven't read all the previous posts, so please forgive me if I ask something that's been said before. The symptom you describe: <I'll wake up and take one gasp of air. It is very bizarre. I can feel it coming on as I fall asleep. Well, last night this was magnified and I woke up and was breathing heavy.> sound like sleep apnea. Are you familiar with it? It's when the back of your throat relaxes while you're sleeping and cuts off your air supply. You may need a sleep test. I don't know if heparin has anything to do with it. Without question - a good, organic, highly concentrated aloe vera. I do take this for prevention, and my clients take it after the fact.
