Thanks Bruce and others who replied. I'm asking because it is my wife who has

been diagnosed with invasive ductal breast cancer. To complicate things she is

19 weeks pregnant with our third child. The only treatment proposed by the

doctors is a full masectomy and chemo while she's pregnant, the argument being

that breast cancer in young women is generally more agressive coupled with the

fact of increased vascularisation in her breast. They arn't able to tell if

it's estrogen receptive until it's out which seems a pointless bit of

information.

Hi Darryl

This is Capt Dan.

18 months ago I was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer with multiple mets

to the bone.

After intensive research on what my options were, I decided against chemo and

radiation, and chose to go to the San Diego clinic in Mexico. Thank God I did.

Now one year after starting treatment, I had another MRI. The primary tumor in

my prostate has regressed and the bone tumors are indolent(stable not growing) I

am in excellent health and still working hard in Kuwait.

On our last visit to the clinic in November this year, my wife and I met 5

women with breast cancer.

Four of them at the San Diego Clinic, and one at a hospital in Tijuana that

specializes in the Gearson therapy.

Four of the women had a biopsy, and or a lumpectomy. All four experienced

immediate increased cancer activity. All four had chemo. All four got sicker and

came to Mexico in desperation two in wheelchairs, one to the clinic and the

other to the hospital.

The fifth lady did not have a biopsy, although she did have a mamogram. She

came directly to the clinic. She did not have chemo, radiation or surgery. Now

two years later the lump has gone from her breast and she is in perfect health.

She comes to the clinic every three months now for a check up.

The lady who went to the hospital was able to walk after three weeks. When we

met her she was walking, talking, eating and sleeping well, although still weak

and will stay in the hospital for another month.

All three other ladies at the clinic appeared to be much better than when they

arrived. I do not have the experience or knowledge to advise people. I can only

tell you this. As a result of my research I discovered that except for some

cancers, chemo has a success rate of only 6%. For me 6% is on a par with

spontaneous remission. It happens sometimes. The other thing I discovered by

analysis of many clincal trials for prostate cancer, was that all the men taking

chemo died on time at 16 to 36 months. The objective of these trials appears to

be to try to extend the " chemo treated " life expectancy by a few months. Its

hard to find men who are long term survivors of advanced metastatic prostate

cancer because most men are allready in their fifties or sixties at diagnosis,

take hormone suppression and chemo as the standard treatment, and if they

survive the cancer die of other things, (like natural causes) before becoming

" long term " survivors. I did however find Cliff. Who

now has sixteen years disease free survival. Cliff had only hormone treatment

for the first three years with cottage cheese and flax seed oil every day during

that time and thereafter.

Cancer is a very tough, cunning and elusive disease. Every cancer is as

different as the body that hosts it. What works for one may not work for

another. So, please be careful of well intenioned but uninformed people who give

you quick answers. No matter what you decide to do you must get an immunologist

on the team to help create a protocol that will work for your wife. Get a

thorough blood workup, reviewed by an MD Immunolgist. This will identify the

condition of her immune system, and is the first step to take.

You might have your wife order the video tape by Dr lorraine Day who cured

herself of breast cancer: Heres the link:

www.drday.com Also start her on the Dr Budwig diet right away. This is the

cottage cheese and flax oil: You can buy her book: " How to fight cancer and win

" at Amazon.com

Again. Be VERY VERY careful about taking advice from people who mean well. DO

YOUR OWN RESEARCH. CHECK CHECK and CHECK again. The Internet is your rescource.

Use it well. Despite what you read on sites like this one. There are medical

doctors who are practicing " intergrative complementary medicine " You have to

find them. Dr in New York is one. Dr Day is another, Dr Munoz of the

San Diego Clinic is another of www.sdiegoclinic.com

and Vince Gammill of the Center for Natural Oncology can advise you
