How very sad. I've known many people that were helped by these products. The

FDA doesn't have our well being at heart. They only care about the well being

of Big Pharma.

what I need in my current program. I can't find a reliable new

source)

(Lafayette-AP) -- A Lake man has pleaded guilty to charges

he defrauded Internet customers and sold drugs that had not been

approved by federal health officials.

Caton ran a company called Alpha Omega Labs that made

nearly a (m) million dollars selling alternative medicine over the

Internet.

He faces up to eight years in prison and a 500-thousand dollar fine.

Prosecutors say Caton made 950-thousand dollars selling what were

billed as natural remedies for cancer and other ailments.

The business, which went online in 1999, was ordered to stop selling

its products last year by the US Food and Drug Administration.

The company still maintains a Web site, but offers a disclaimer that

the site is for information purposes only and that no products are

for sale.

The federal charges involve two products the company sold -- Cansema

Tonic Three, billed as a natural treatment for cancer, and H-30,

which the company literature touted as a food preservative and

disinfectant.

Federal officials say none of the company's claims had been

substantiated through approved testing and the products might have

been harmful.

At least one lawsuit is pending against Alpha Omega in connection

with a " Cansema " salve that was sold by the company. No sentencing

date has been set for Caton.
