Guest guest
Dear , > I have recently been diagnosed with stage 3 multiple myeloma. > If there is anyone on this list who has been successful at eliminating MM, > please respond. I've never personally known anyone who's had myeloma. However, I've read the following re: myeloma: Helixor (a mistletoe extract) is reportedly effective for chronic myeloma genous leukemia. The following leading practitioner of Kelley's nutritional-metabolic therapy states that he's quite effective w/myeloma: , M.D. 36a East 36th St, Suite 204 New York, NY, 10016, 212-213-3337 or 212-535-3993; fax 3414 www.dr-gonzalez.com www.oxytherapy.com/aj/not.html http://naturalhealthline.com/newsletter/15june00/gonzalez.htm www.blackstockorganics.com/gonzales.htm www.blackstockorganics.com/gonzalez1.htm (1995 interview) Another superb practitioner of this treatment is Jack O. , M.S., D.C. (nutritional counselor/nutritionist/dietitian) Dr. 's Wellness Center 3601 Algonquin Rd Ste 801 Rolling Meadows, IL 60008 847-222-1192; fax 1195 www.cancure.org/Dr_taylors_wellness_center.htm There's a chapter on him in Diamond et al. (1997) _Alt. Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer_ (alternativemedicine.com) Dr. states that " patients with the blood or immune based malignancies such as leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma do best on a high-animal protein, high-fat diet " (www.dr-gonzalez.com/clinical_pearls.htm) (He recommends the opposite for most other types of cancer.) Patients are also instructed to take large amounts of pancreatic/proteolytic enzymes (the best brand being Wobe Mugos/Wobenzyme) and ample consumption of purified water. Myeloma patients are rather consistently " parasympathetic-dominant " metabolic types and accordingly should (unlike most other cancer patients) avoid citrus fruit and green leafy vegetables. " Dr. advises parasympathetic-dominant people to get about 20% of their total calories from fatty meats, including large servings of [ORGANIC] beef, lamb, or pork at least once a day. These high-protein foods should be consumed only in the early part of the day. " (Diamond et al., 1997, p. 480). Also, according to Dr. and others, it is often HARMFUL to blindly strengthen the immune system in cases of leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma. For an audiotape of 's Pre- Conference seminar in which he discusses these issues, www.conferencerecording.com/newevents/cmb20.htm For more info on Kelley's nutritional metabolic therapy, see www.whale.to/cancer/kelley.html) The following hospital lists myeloma as 1 of the many types of cancer that they treat: Centro Hospitalario del Pacifico S. A. (CHIPSA) Tijuana, Mexico 877-424-4772 800-759-2966 619-573-9720 www.cancerhelp.net chipsa@... Let me know if you'd like more info on anything listed above, other alt. cancer treatment centers that may be effective w/myeloma, or alt. cancer practitioners in a particular geographic area.
