Guest guest
From: " ph T. " <joe039@...> > What is the info on taking IPT, which is a form of > chemo instead of the full dose of chemo? IPT entails using insulin to enhance effects of chemotherapy (using about 10% the normal chemo dosage). I've read the following about it: Works best w/solid tumors & lymphoma; " [Tom] Lodi says IPT is especially great for [breast] and prostate, not that great for liver or brain " (10/03) or colon cancer; but it's sometimes effective w/brain tumors, as well as lung, ovarian, & other cancers. " effective w/breast & prostate cancer; works well w/antioxidants " " has helped advanced patients who have done conventional treatment as well. " " I have been doing quite a bit of research lately on IPT....seems made to order for dealing systemically with most stage 1 and 2 cancers. One can expect results without compromising the immune system....leaves the door open for concurrent immune therapies. Sometimes stage 3 cancers go into remission....patients do not suffer...the side effects associated with chemo. " (Gammill, 7/02) " for anyone who has early stage cancer, such as breast cancer...your chances of complete remission are [very high], whereas [my chance, being at stage IVa] is only 50% at best....patient with metastisized lymphoma, who has done traditional chemo as well as alternative treatments, to no avail in her 17 year battle....After her very first IPT visit with Dr. , she was off her morphine....within two weeks...tumors shrinking....Responses vary, some plateauing after an initial quick response, others building momentum, etc. " For more info, http://iptq.com or http://iptq.com/cancer.htm www.iptcancer.com http://contemporarymedicine.net/ipt/ipt_main.shtml http://www.caringmedical.com/faqtopics/ipt.asp www.benutsnews.com/0320_ipt.htm www.alkalizeforhealth.net/complementarymedicine.htm (see the little box about half way down this page) For a (INCOMPLETE) list of practitioners (doesn't include doctors in Tijuana, and perhaps other area), http://getipt.com/location.htm " Dr. Hauser's book `Treating Cancer with IPT' is very informative and concise. ISBN 0-9661010-6-5 It's available from www.caringmedical.com/aboutus/therapylist.asp " Let me know if you have any questions re: particular practitioners. Personally, for the vast majority of cancers, I'd avoid all chemo, but if I if I had a cancer highly resistant to alt. therapies and highly responsive to chemo (or chose to do chemo for whatever reason), I'd very likely choose IPT. Guest guest
Joe, http://www.breast.cancer.4t.com/questions.html http://www.iptq.com/response_rates.htm I have a friend on IPT for ovarian, she's put out 2000 a treatment and gone through over 100,000. Granted ovarian is hard to cure, I could not afford it. I've emailed others getting treatments for 400 in other states. I think the second site I sent leads you to who does it where. Lona Though you tie a hundred knots, the string remains one. ~~ Rumi http://tahomagirl.com ----- Original Message ----- From: " ph T. Guest guest
Hello, Has your friend benefited from IPT? From your words it follows that she already had 50+ (!) sessions? Note that some insurance companies will partially pay for IPT treatments since IPT practitioners use FDA- approved drugs (they will probably treat it as out-of-network). If you have medical insurance you may want to check with your company. > Joe, > http://www.breast.cancer.4t.com/questions.html > http://www.iptq.com/response_rates.htm > I have a friend on IPT for ovarian, she's put out 2000 a treatment and gone > through over 100,000. Hi Lona, For what its worth, I have read of and communicated with a couple of women that were stage 4 ovarian cancer patients. They used Hulda 's methods and became disease free. I'm sorry I don't have any more info on them to share, but thought I'd toss that bit out for you to do with what you please. Best,
