A lot of info. and choices coming from people who are I'm sure trying to help and be supportitive confuses me more each time I READ a post with usually links to sites trying to sell you their treatments. Hope comes from affirmations of others who have been cured. As one suggested, if each effort produced a few percentage points of benefit then adding a lot of efforts might build up those percentage points. We are dealing with the 'final' assault upon our bodies whether or not we were the first to assault it ourselves. So we try to stop assaulting ourselves and then remove the other combatants such as the environment around us and do our best to provide our bodies with what it needs. When we slip we need to right ourselves. Yesterday I slipped and 'slopped up' when I decided my favorite tart, while fresh fruit, was still a tart.................and had three portions. Kushi one of the founders of Macrobiotics died of cancer " maybe " it was written she was also taking chemo. again surprizes me- most alternative patients avoid any contact with so called modern medicine and their testing. What I SEE is people either obese or have other eating dis-orders with hocus pocus pills and devises treating the symptom not the disease. My sister had a very advanced case of multiple myeloma which destroyed (7-16-02) her femur before we found she had cancer. Her life was was not estimated in years but in months.
