what is the reasoning for giving synthroid to a 80 year old prostate

cancer victim, who has had brachytherapy(seeds), who has recurrent

diahreaha(from radiation damage to intestinal tract), and who has

normal thryoid readings?

Does synthroid, retard metastasis?
