Guest guest
Hi Neil, I hope both you and Dr. Weston Price ( whom I respect for a lot of things, that is, his great research on dental health/nutrition) are correct and I am wrong. That would make Dr. Max Gerson and others ron, too, however...In good humo(u)r and health, I wish you the same. Ciao for now and a cheery day to all, Mike Cinelli ============================================================ Re: [ ] Reply To Neilwww.notmilk.com > Well, i'm not going to claim that you're wrong Mike. Why Should i? Dr. Weston A. Price PROVED that you're wrong 70-some years ago. <http://www.sumeria.net/health/price.html> > > >Hi Neil, > >Yes, I feel the same way about soy as you do, however, I believe both soy > >products and milk products are bad for us. Guest guest
Hey Mike, it's no longer necessary to hope. Today is your lucky day! Read about Dr. Weston's study of the high Alps Swiss. These people had exceptionally long life spans, with their average longevity well into the 80s -- with full sets of teeth. They never brushed their teeth or practiced what we call dental hygiene but dental caries were virtually unheard of in their society. Dr. Price's work cannot be proven wrong because it was so well documented -- even comparing those who lived the traditional lifestyle to those who went down the mountain and adopted traditional diets. The latter succumbed to most of the health problems of the modern era -- including dental caries. The major portion of their traditional diet consisted of meat and raw dairy products. I am sure that had Dr. Gerson been aware of Dr. Price's work, he would have modified his position. However, since it could not be disproved, the scientists of the day (and today) simply disregarded it. That's the way " modern science " deals with things that tend to disprove their " impressions. Guest guest
Personally, I think the key words here are Raw Dairy Products. These high Alps Swiss do not homoginize or pasturize their milk or milk products. Thus they have all the nutrition, enzymes, and benefits of dairy, and non of the problems of dead enzymes, or hormonally toxic, poisonous herbacides, not to mention the coloring that they put in the milk to get it to even resemble milk after they fiddle with it so much! Guest guest
That is exactly right Ruby. In addition, pasteurization of milk converts the lactose into beta lactose which is much more readily assimilated. That makes for a one-two punch -- No enzymes + beta lactose = adverse reactions. >Personally, I think the key words here are Raw Dairy Products. The WWW VL: Sumeria http://www.sumeria.net/ Why would someone pay $1.89 for a bottle of Evian water? (hint: Try spelling " Evian " backwards!)
