Guest guest Posted May 10, 2004 Report Share Posted May 10, 2004 You are sure that the therapeutic effect of laying on hands is only due to placebo,but a couple months ago I found by means of a search engine the two sites.One of them describes experiment on animals with cancer tumours:after causing them cancer scientists were laying on hands on them during essential periods of time a day,and,as result,most of these animals survived while in the control group none of such animal patients survived.Do you believe the effect of placebo may refer to animals,too? The second site outlines the opinion and research of a German scientist who states that as any cell has its electromagnetic field ,anyway, there is an interaction of the fields of the cells of the laying on hand and the cells of the tissue upon which this hand is being laid on,and ,as result of this interaction, metabolism of the cells of the tissue becomes more active. I can't remember the exact addresses of the sites,later I will find it out.You also may put the words " laying on hands " into search engines by yourselves.
