Guest guest
That looks good, the main thing is how you feel. I am suprised that anyone does injections 3 weeks apart. How much do you inject each time in cc/ml and mg? Do you have any change in results over those 3 weeks? How long have you been injecting? How long after the injection did you get your blood drawn for the test? > Hi Gang, > > Well, 3 months into my hypogonadism diagnosis, and think that we are > finally getting somewhere. Guest guest
Great to hear you are making progress. Sounds like the shots have positive benefit. Your levels are improved, and reasonable, they could be higher without negative side effect. The main thing is: Shots once every 3 weeks is NOT enough. You need to get the shot a minimum once every 2 weeks, and can get it as often as once every 5 days. With every three weeks, by the end you will have very little testosterone left in your body, compared to the first few days when you will feel much more of it. I definitely recommend addressing your dosing schedule. 100mg a week is the norm. Some go higher. Guest guest
Well, the total looks OK, but the free T still looks a bit low, assuming we're talking about the normal scale (could you post the lab ranges for the results?) My guess is that you are aromatizing a lot, and thus your free T is not as high as it should be. You actually want that number to be about double where it is now. Not that you won't feel improvement at where you are at, when I raised my free T from 12 to 16 I felt improvement, but I felt much better when I got it up above 30. You might want to get your estradiol levels checked to find out if that's the problem. > Hi Gang, > > Well, 3 months into my hypogonadism diagnosis, and think that we are > finally getting somewhere. Guest guest
What is your dose for T? When were your test results taken? Most people would recommend a shot every week to keep the levels stabalized. I've seen recommendations from 75 to 150 mg/week. Although levels are important, what is more important is how you feel. You may feel great at 600 or you may feel better at 800. It really depends on you. I may ask your doctor about increasing the shot. Also, if your blood work was taken in Week 3, your test levels were probably much higher during week 1 and 2. So say you feel good. So, that is the most important thing. > Hi Gang, > > Well, 3 months into my hypogonadism diagnosis, and think that we are > finally getting somewhere.
