Guest guest
How do you diagnose Kallmann's Syndrome? What are the symptoms? I have ideopathic HH, meaning they have no idea why. >From: " coacharnie50 " <coacharnie50@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Kallmann's Syndrome >Date: Wed, 18 Feb 2004 03:00:44 -0000 > >I am 50 years old and just diagnosed with Kallmann's Syndrome, which >explains my hypogonadism. Guest guest
Make sure your T level is in the high range, bare minimum 700+ on a daily basis. Get your e2 checked (estradiol), if it is high, take arimidex or aromasin in small doses to manage it. This is a good start to working on the sex drive problem. I am not familiar if there are other treatments beneficial specifically for kallmann's hopefully someone knowledgeable in that area will also answer. Regardless, the stuff in the top is critical for you to get started. What is your current dose of T replacement and what method are you taking? Guest guest
Hi I do not have Kallmans. However, I write as I think you can down load information from the UK's Pituitary Foundation at http://www.pituitary.org.uk They also have a book in their GP information section which they may be willing to post to you. I received some copies to distribute to local GPs ca 2-3 years ago so it will depend if they have any left. Good luck!
