Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone knew any doctors in Canada or online Canadian doctors who are willing to prescribe GH replacement therapy. Im having trouble finding an endo who is willing to test my IGF-1 levels and I greatly suspect that my GH levels are close to nothing. The reason I suspect this is because I have all the major signs of growth hormone deficiency and my bone density is very small. Does anyone have any experience with this and is on replacement GH? Any feedback is appreciated.
Guest guest
My igf-1 level was 140 range 90-360 A 24 year old males range is 182-780 I started on 1iu a day and had very good results, i ran at 1-2iu a day for a few months and ended with 6iu a day for a week. Went off for a month and just started a few days ago on 2iu a day. It did help a great deal. You can get it from many on-line anti-aging web sites and there is even a buyers club. The cost can be from 7-12 $ a iu. If you get it as rx and have your insurance pay for it, well that would be great. There are some who go for the once a month IM depot of HGH. There is also a product called p-gh or p-igf, these tend to be " research chems " and can be had for little money. Some people report good results and others no results. The cheapest ways to improve igf-1 levels are: 1. REM sleep 2. REM sleep in complete darkness. 3. Direct first early morning sunlight. 4. Protein the good stuff like egg or whey 5. 5-htp or l-tryptophan > I was wondering if anyone knew any doctors in Canada or online > Canadian doctors who are willing to prescribe GH replacement > therapy. Guest guest
If your pituitary is damaged... and the cells that secrete GH are damaged-- all the exercise in the world WILL NOT allow secretion of GH because the brain is damaged. some people with pituitary caused hypothyroidism will also have GHD because the cells in the pituitary are extra extra sensitive to GH damage. the only way to know if you are low and cant make it on your own- even with exercise-- is for an endo to run a IGF-1 level and then a 2 hour GH stimulation test with a provoking agent. to learn a lot more and get the medical guidelines-- one can visit hgfound.org and sign up for the adult GH support list. the head guy earl there knows everything --- <moneyatwork@...> wrote: > Yeah Dr. MIchael Colgan has many references to > Growth Hormone replacment in his book Hormonal > Health. Guest guest
my IGF-1 levels are to the floor too. This is why i was asking. Yet I have so many low metabolic energy complaints that look like low thyroid yet my TSH is 1.99 and FRee levels in the middle range. Yet cold and tired and dragged out all the time. How do I find out why its low? Guest guest
hi i dont come on here often... busy and such so read the last message i sent-- most of the info you need go to hgfound.org and sign up for adult internet list my IGF-1 was like 43.... low low low for a young person in 30's.(NORMAL 114-492) after replacing GH injections... my IGF-1 back up to normal range and i couldnt feel better! one might need a higher dose of T4 with GH as metabolsim speeds up and the acceleration of T4 metabolsim my free T4 was low at 0.6 i replaced iodine from KELP and l-tyrosine and i brought my levels back up to normal.... so i dont have to take thyroid medication but please research about GH and only find a competent endo that knows about adult GH defciency! If your pituitary is damaged... and the cells that secrete GH are damaged-- all the exercise in the world WILL NOT allow secretion of GH because the brain is damaged. some people with pituitary caused hypothyroidism will also have GHD because the cells in the pituitary are extra extra sensitive to GH damage. the only way to know if you are low and cant make it on your own- even with exercise-- is for an endo to run a IGF-1 level and then a 2 hour GH stimulation test with a provoking agent. to learn a lot more and get the medical guidelines-- one can visit hgfound.org and sign up for the adult GH support list. the head guy earl there knows everything --- <moneyatwork@...> wrote: > my IGF-1 levels are to the floor too.
