Guest guest
I am 40 and from UK, had testosterone 9.7 (8.4-28.5) prolactin 135 (is this not way to high???) I have not beendiagnosed as having hypogonadism suffering low libido / possible ED, very forgetful etc. smallisth testicles I recently lost ability to push out my urine stream with force, it just flows out at steady rate, could this be prostate problems?. I have appt with urologist in August. I am about 30-40lb overweight I ahve 3 year old child with my wife and we want another baby, so I am very concerned that any supplements I take, would not affect my sperm /fertility. I am looking to get advise about natural means of achieveing higher T levels and exual potentcy / fertility. TN
Guest guest
From the information i have been able to get on the subject, you need to find out what is causing your hypogonadism, and whether it be primary or secondary. You may be able to stimulate your hypo axis with clomid for a period of time which could help your pituatary to send more LH and FSH to the testes, thus encouraging fertilty and testosterone production. Of course it will depend on what your problem is and if the testes are capable of doing so. If your problem is primary, (hypogonadotrophic hypogonadism)HCG could be an option. It is a fertilty drug ofen combined with HMG, for males to facilitate spermatogenesis and testosterone production. If you are concerned about maintaining your fertility, testosterone replacement therapy will only shut down your testes and sperm production. So you should probably see a fertilty specialist or endo who is experienced in this area... You didnt give a measurement for the prolactin...is it mIU/L? If so the normal range is somewhere between 40-450. The only natural means i have investigated are possibly acupunture, which has shown some promising effects and the supplement tribulus... , gn270297 <no_reply@y...> wrote: > I am 40 and from UK, had > > testosterone 9.7 (8.4-28.5) > prolactin 135 (is this not way to high???) > > I have not beendiagnosed as having hypogonadism > > suffering low libido / possible ED, very forgetful etc. smallisth > testicles > > I recently lost ability to push out my urine stream with force, it > just flows out at steady rate, could this be prostate problems?. > > I have appt with urologist in August. > > I am about 30-40lb overweight > > I ahve 3 year old child with my wife and we want another baby, so I > am very concerned that any supplements I take, would not affect my > sperm /fertility. > > I am looking to get advise about natural means of achieveing higher T > levels and exual potentcy / fertility. > > > TN
Guest guest
Just as an FYI - I saw a male infertility specialist/urologist the other day for a second opinion. He has been able to induce fertility in males after being on T replacement for a couple years. He has had people switch from T to a combo of HCG and another drug when they want to get pregnant, switch back to T for maintenance, and switch back again to the combo to try again. Not sure if that is the best method or not, but it is doable. He also told me I'm already infertile at my extremely low levels. Also, below I think you meant to say secondary instead of primary?
