You'll get better answers if you can give some of your test results, etc. In the meantime reading this will give you some knowledge of what your doc is or should be up to: http://www.aace.com/clin/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf - - - - Just another albino black sheep
Guest guest
Hi, First, don't worry about the MRI. Standard procedure. Sometimes benign tumors in the pituitary gland cause hypogonadism. If you have one, it's treatable. Nowhere near life-threatening. Headaches are not related. It does need to be checked, just in case. Can you post your new lab results when you get them, along with the ones from last month? Those will tell us a lot about how Androgel works for you (results vary among patients). The kind of tests your doc orders will say a lot about her knowledge about treating hypogonadism. Are you planning to have kids? TRT can make you sterile. Other approaches may be available. Guest guest
Hi, The wife must be in on this adventure or else. The sex drive is essential of course, but if you then have trouble having erections, this is called ED and can have lots of causes. There are several forms of T therapy including hormone pellets which require no day to day involvement by the patient till the new pellets are installed after 4 months. You may want to try viagra to give you more confidence as you begin this new adventure with your wife. ernestnolan > I am in my second marriage and for the last 4 years I have treated my > wife like she was my sister, with my sex drive and desire next to > nil. Guest guest
Hello, what does the the Androgel package say, is it a 2.5 or 5 gram package? Also, it sure should not take three months to find out if it is working. The testosterone gets absorbed very quickly and starts your levels rising, depending on the dose, you should feel a nice difference I am quessing after may 3-5 days or so, at least I do when I knock off for a while or cut back and then go back to normal again. Curious what dosage you are on. norton ------------------------ > > > I am in my second marriage and for the last 4 years I have treated my > > wife like she was my sister, with my sex drive and desire next to > > nil.
