Hey Guys,

Well i went to see my PCP to review my results. As noted further

down in this thread, my T test at 397 Total and 2.1% free. I talked

to my PCP and explained my symptons that are condusive of

Klinefelters. He tells me that 397 is about right for my age (28,

6'1 250 pounds). I almost fall on the floor. I bring up

Klinefelters which he is familar with and he suggests i wait SIX

WEEKS to take another T test to see where i stand.

Should i just call an Endo and go talk to them? Does anyone have any

good Docs/Endos in the Philly area that might not brush this off so

easily. I don't really think i can wait 6 weeks of thinking about

this before i know anymore information..

There's a list of Innovative Doctors that Life Extension Foundation (LEF)

has put together, in our files section. It's in Word format and if you

are unable to open it, there's also a no charge download of Word Reader in

Files section.

By tradition, LEF is very hormone friendly. The first time I visited their

site 4-5 years ago...they advocated that mature men have T levels of teen

agers.

In our links section there's a table showing desirable T levels for men by

age group....you might want to see how you compare.

Good luck,

OR eon

It's about normal for an 85 year old man!

Hi -

There's a list of docs in the database files.

The endocrinolgist who wrote " The Testosterone Syndrome " is

near Reading: Eugene R.  Shippen III, MD    610-777-7896

9 E. Lancaster Ave.  Shillington, PA 19607    Endocrinology,

Metabolism & Diabetes. Last I heard, he's not accepting new

patients until June.

My new doc is in Springfield, PA, & I love him: Walter W.

Schwartz DO    610-604-4800  471 Baltimore Pike  Springfield,

PA 19064  Internal medicine/cardiology, hormone therapy

Best,

Bruce
